"6 month with RAM"

We have had RAM for almost 6 months. We have the trackers installed on our private ambulances.

The tracking has been a real asset to our operations, being able to see where drivers are at any moment means we can be more effective. We can divert teams by seeing what vehicle is closest to a location in real-time.

The past journeys tool has also been useful, allowing us to accurately track drivers 24/7 for things like overtime.

The initial installation was arranged quickly and was really convenient, there was minimal disruption to our work.

I have spoken to the customer service team a number of times throughout our 6 months with RAM. They are always really knowledgeable and helpful.

Today I called RAM as we are retiring one of our older vehicles, so needed the tracking stopped for it. A quick phone call and the RAM tracker was stopped remotely there-and-then by QASIM. Really impressive!

"very confusing"

poor service, I was told that the cheapest way to swap over a tracking device was to purchase a new one and then dispose of the old one. I was then sent an invoice for £70 for a non returned device. Then when I have checked the portal they have also switched off the wrong device!

"Nasty Contract clauses"

I have been a RAM Tracking customer for 6-7 years for fleet tracking on multiple vehicles.
Everything works well until you need to cancel or change the contract for any reason.

Then they charge you for everything they possibly can, some examples..

I have sold several vehicles and let the contract run out because it's cheaper than cancelling.
Had several insurance write-offs and just let the contract run out because it's cheaper than cancelling.
Now eventually when I only have one tracker left and decided to cut my losses and leave, again they quoted an absolute fortune to cancel.

I now have the last direct debit on my bank account and all the hassle of remembering to cancel in 20 months, because they don't know how to be fair.

Save yourself a lot of hassle and stress and don't believe their sales team.
