Good strong cage which fits exactly in my Audi as promised Would have given 5 stars bur rubber coming off the sliding gate and it ill not stay in place.Otherwise very happy with purchase

"Pros and cons..."

The positive about the crate is that it is the only one I could find that is designed to fit in a hatchback car and perfectly fits my Audi A3 Sportback. The negatives are that it is not as substantial as some other travelling crates and the frame is not rigid when erected. But the major downside for me, it does not have a solid base. It has a base liner, made from a plastic canvas fixed around a frame and comes with an additional thin acrylic pad. This means that the dog has the discomfort of feeling the metal crate bars under it unless I add thick bedding of my own. My dog, who is a restless traveller, does not like having bedding under her feet as it makes her feel insecure and will scratch it all up out of the way. This means she is effectively sitting on the crate bars which also makes her feel insecure. So she refuses to get in the crate. For the high price of the crate a solid, removable, base should be included.

Pretty good crate for the money. Just a couple of sharp edges at the bottom of the door opening easily fixed with a bit of strong tape

Very quick delivery next day opened box set up cage carried it to car only to find out cage stood some 2-3 inches to wide at top
After answering questions from seller (do back seats recline or move forward/ try setting cage up with back door shut (really )
Sent back am awaiting refund as I write this review
