"Service that'll break your heart (kinda)"
Update: 10 days now since I disabled my humidifier as instructed by RobotEksperten. No replacement, no refund, no contact at all.
Update 2: received an offer of a partial refund (less than the price I paid) for the destroyed product, with an accusation that I should have realized their tilbud was "incorrect" when I placed my order. (?)

Bought a luftfukter here on pre-Black-Friday sale, nice price. It turned out to be defective. It worked overall, but was visibly crooked and clicked loudly.
That's okay, stuff happens. Reached out to customer service, adding: "I'd be reluctant to lose the product completely (it does humidify the room, even if with extra noise) and I don't see it on your website anymore, meaning that you probably can't replace it. Ikke sant?"
A representative told me to register a reklamasjon. So I did, reiterating: "Would a replacement be possible? Not interested in losing the product entirely; it does help with dry air."
Another representative requested photos and a video, then agreed that the product was defective. Solution? I must destroy it. Then, and only then, they'll send a replacement.
Never seen it handled this way before. Asked: it's pretty dry indoors, I'm coughing, luftfukter helps, perhaps there is another way? Nope, no other way. Destroy, send proof, then wait. How long? "Only one week with shipping and customs."
So, destroyed it as instructed, sent photos. A few days later, bombshell: they won't replace it. It's out of stock. (Is this something that should have been checked earlier?) They also won't send an equivalent because I paid a sale price, not a full price.
Supposedly only a partial (not full) refund is possible now, for some reason. That sum is too low to buy a replacement either way.
Sitting here with the humidifier I destroyed at their request, indoor humidity at 17%, and wondering: does customer service get any worse than this?

Lett å håndtere,klipper perfekt. Sliter litt her som det er ganske skrått,men det er nok en tilvenning-sak på å justere vinkel på håndtaket. Tar minimalt med plass for oppbevaring.

There was some issue with the product price and I am truly impressed with the quick fix provided by the Customer Services team. The delivery of the product was also pretty efficient.
