This was the trip of a lifetime, thanks to Luxury Scotland Tours. We just got off the plane and our driver picked us up at the airport. He took care of everything so there was no guesswork. He drove us everywhere (our hotels and locations to visit) and picked up the tickets. No figuring out the directions, booking things in advance. All we did was decide on a few places we wanted to visit and you don’t even have to do that if you don’t want as the company is very knowledgeable about Scotland and the amazing things to see.
They did an incredible job and took all the stress out of the experience. Very professional and highly recommended. And our driver was lovely.
Would definitely go with this company again! Thank you!

"Perfect trip!"

Luxury Scotland Tours has set the bar extremely high for all our future travels. Their staff and attention to detail was amazing. Struan and Helen did a great job planning our vacation. Our first stop was Edinburgh where Hannah gave us a fun tour of the city. She was lovely and very knowledgeable. We then were picked up by our personal driver, Bruce, and headed to the Highlands for a week. Bruce was absolutely wonderful! He quickly learned our tastes and suggested perfect add-ins when there was time or unforeseen barriers occurred (like a mudslide on Skye). We could not have asked for a better trip, other than having more time. We will most definitely be back, and will use Luxury Scotland Tours (requesting Bruce) again!

"Simply Wonderful"

This trip was postponed three times due to Covid and the company was totally accommodative and flexible each time. When we finally were able to take the trip it was a wonderful experience. Our driver, Bruce was knowledgeable, personable and flexible and made the whole experience memorable. All accommodations and experiences were first rate. We did have a sewaplane ride cancelled due to weather and the fee was promptly refunded. Highly recommend.

They did a great job organizing our wonderful trip to Scotland. It was everything we asked them to arrange for us. The hotels were each unique and gave us many different lodging experiences, all at the high end. They took care of dinner reservations, from casual to exquisite tasting menus. Our driver was professional and friendly as well as accommodating and made adjustments as we went along to make sure we got to see as much as possible. The office staff was great. We highly recommend them!

We had a proper Scottish Adventure with Luxury Scotland Tours and Alan as our guide, driver, and forever friend! Like many of the other posters, we planned this trip pre-Covid and this was our third attempt and third time was the charm. We had been to Scotland several times before and had done the typical trip...Pitlochry, Isle of Skye, Jacobite Steam Train...so, we wanted something different - National Geographic style! We combined the Northcoast 500 with day trips to Handa and the Orkneys, traveling up the west coast, along the north and back down the east coast to Inverness. We were a bit too late for the migratory birds (puffins!) but the dramatic scenery made up for it. Hard to pick the highlights as the entire trip was superb. The most striking scenery was the day Alan drove us through the glen where "Skyfall" was filmed. Just stunning. The most fascinating was visiting Skara Brae, a settlement over 5000 years old on the Mainland of the Orkneys. The most royal was visiting Castle Mey, the home of the late Queen Mum. It was a fairy tale castle in a land of castles. All of the accommodations were top notch with the Glencoe House topping them all, and the food was great. Best of all, our driver Alan, provided a running commentary of the history of each place we visited. He also found the best places for soup, shopping and hiking. If he didn't know the answer immediately, he would by then end of the day. He is a treasure and a big part of why we had the most incredible 15 days. "Five star experience"

We just returned from our week long Scotland tour of the West Coast and islands. We did a customized tour to visit distilleries in Ila as well as sightseeing. The itinerary and communication was top notch, as was our driver, who provided additional local recommendations. A stress free and memorable trip.
