I had such a lovely time on the Reiki Level 1 course. I met some fabulous, genuine, caring people in the form of students and staff. Martin and the school's helpers were approachable, knowledgeable and encouraging. I felt fully supported in the practical sessions and even before I arrived as Martin was very quick to respond to any queries I put to him via text about the logistics of getting to the course and paying the course fees. Martin used a mixture of theory and practical sessions to deliver the course and there were plenty of opportunities to ask further questions, all of which Martin and team were able to answer. Everyone had different life experiences, backgrounds, and ideas about healing, but I felt everyone was respected and valued and our contributions to discussions were welcomed and appreciated. I enjoyed it so much, I'm considering repeating the Level 1 course. (I might move in!) I am definitely thinking about progressing onto further courses, which I wasn't going to do before - I had only intended to do the first, non-accredited course. I would wholeheartedly recommend this training school. I felt the course was very good value for money, plenty of staff for support, fit for purpose venue, ample on road parking, teas and coffees, and even a goody bag to help us progress our practice and recreate The Therapy Rooms ambience at home. 10/10.

"There are lots of reiki practitioners…"

There are lots of reiki practitioners and courses out there, it’s hard to know where to go and who to trust. Needless to say, I was a little skeptical when I signed up for level 1 reiki with Martin and reiki tradition. However, I couldn’t recommend this school, practitioner or course more.
The level 1 weekend was so informative with such in-depth history, knowledge and practice. Martin and the whole team were so genuine, welcoming and supportive and I can’t wait to go back to do my level 2.

I am becoming more and more open to the Reiki Tradition way and Martin is very supportive in allowing you to acclimatise at your own pace. He is very patient and kind. My Reiki 1 was enjoyable, although I was somewhat unintentionally guarded and as a result released some wholesome tears in the final day, none of which was frightening and the following days I felt great. After daily practices and familiarising myself further, my Reiki 2 was totally unguarded and brilliant, with no waterworks! We all experience in different ways and Martin understands this and does very well to include everyone there on the day regardless of background and is always available for questions, no matter how daft. I know because I've asked and tested this statement lol. And I'm still asking and receiving the same patient and caring responses each time! There are loads of nice and personal touches as well, throughout the whole experience. There's a lot of thought that goes into the day, in making it the best it can be for everyone involved, and that shines through intensely. It is, and you are, appreciated. Thank you Martin and Team!
