"Highly inappropriate behaviour "
Someone called Evelyn Whatsapped me out of the blue to tell me he missed me (?) with a dog emoji. When I replied to ask who it was, he said it was Evelyn from Aston Lark and sent me a job description for a job he’s recruiting for.
I’m self employed and have been for 11+ years. I have never applied for jobs and I have no idea where he got my number.
Highly inappropriate behaviour!

"Insurance brokers represent consumers - not insurance companies"
Insurance brokers represent consumers, not insurance companies and they'd do well to remind themselves of this. So disappointed with this insurance broker - have had to constantly raise matters which they really should be doing on my behalf as my broker, otherwise what is the point of paying extra for them. Have lost track of how many new names they're now operating under - we weren't even informed of the latest one. The same goes for the account handlers - change every few months so no continuity with more complex cases. If you are looking for a knowledgeable insurance broker, with attention to detail, please avoid.

"Just parted company with this company"
Just parted company with this company! Received a call from a ‘stand in’ on behalf of my account handler being on vacation, telling me that my car insurance renewal was due in 3 days and that the cheapest quote they could offer was 400% more than current deal. We have changed address and so could make some allowance for price. However 400% higher and a half hearted attempt to tell me with only 3 days notice to make alternative arrangements was really unprofessional and totally arrogant of them. I found a quote for 7.5% more than the current policy so am happy! Not sure Aston Lark understand their job nor how to treat their customers.

"An awful company to do business with…"
An awful company to do business with over the last 18 months. Never do what they say they are going to do and then create very suspect fairy stories about what they have 'done'. Plenty of email proof, etc. to demonstrate this. Happy to take your money but from that point - service completely disappears. Avoid.

"Still waiting for a settlement for a…"
Still waiting for a settlement for a claim from end of January.
Unfortunately this company does not look after the policy holder.
Totally terrible service and will not be renewing my policy again with this company.
We gave 5 stars previously when we took the new policy and we asked to review them.
You judge a company on how they act when there is a problem and I'm sorry to say this company falls way short of the mark.

"Reliable"
Previously acted for me to find best Tractor insurance. Gave me plenty of notice for renewal, a specific person to contact about my account and how they would go about obtaining best value. Worth giving them a try

"Buyer beware"
Buyer beware!
Aston Lark charge administration fees, and also receive commission on your policy.
I was told the administration fee was because they didn’t receive commissions - but when I cancelled a policy after a few months following a property sale they withheld a substantial chunk I had expected to be refunded, claiming it was their commission element.
It is in their Ts&Cs, as they were keen to show me, but not how they had previously represented matters - nor what I would reasonably have expected.
I won’t use them again.

"Initially good but now taking too long"
Initially called to have our heating fixed which seemed fine. However the engineers fix didn't appear to resolve the issue. So tried calling their subcontractor who said they need Aston Lark's permission to continue, which is fine. The subcontractor (Sedgwick) sent them an email to confirm consent, however they have not heard back. I have also been trying to get through their Home Emergency phone line two days in a row; firstly for nearly 2hrs (yesterday) but then had to hang up and today so far 1.5 hrs. If someone could call or email me that would be great.

"Astonlark are a total shambles"
Avoid this company if you value your sanity!!!
I have never had to deal with such a poorly run, disorganised and disjointed company in my life and I am in the construction industry so you can imagine the cretins that I have to deal with. 5 months now I have bent over backwards to get my vehicle fixed as a non-fault claim.
