After ordering a starter kit online and having some problems with it, I decided to go in and brave looking like a bit of a meeb. I shouldn't have worried, as the guy there was very helpful - he had the same kit as I had bought, and understood the trepidation of Wattage, Ohmage, Voltage and other things I hadn't paid much attention to in school physics classes.
