"I bought a natural oak 10 year…"
I bought a natural oak 10 year woodstain, instead of a 10 year natural oak wood stain it appears that a think white gloss like product was inside the tin. Apparently, that's my fault and not the fault of Ronseal!??? Absolutely shocking customer service

"Absolute rubbish"
Absolute rubbish. I used Ronseal Plus in Charcoal to revive a fence painted 4 years ago. Its like a jelly and coverage is poor, and the charcoal colour looks like a light grey, and its going to need 3-4 coast at least to make any difference. Not worth the effort so please don't waste your time.

"Ronseal disappointment."
I painted 2 garden seats with paint left over from last season and they looked great paint took well to the prepared furniture. I bought a new tin exact same brand for remaining seats mixed it for several minutes but was like jelly swimming in water and it would not make any impression on wood. I have been painting for 50 years. Returned the tin to shop and was told it was a new batch they received in and they had no other complaints from anyone.

"I am disgusted by what I have purchased…"
I am disgusted by what I have purchased to be honest. Ronseal fence life plus in sage … it is not sage it is a watery blue weird colour it splashes it is nothing like it. I had read the Homebase reviews and it was 80% don’t touch it with a barge pole, how I wish I had listened. A waste of my time and my money,. Avoid it!

"Terrible product - ineffective spraying"
Sprayer nozzle stops working after 2 minutes: goes from spraying wide to a river of paint coming out - terrible mess! More paint in the ground than on the fence! This is after following the instructions carefully and spending half an hour troubleshooting on google. Don't waste your time or your money!

"Bought ronseal furniture paint to paint…"
Bought ronseal furniture paint to paint a chair, did all the necessary prep work, even applied an undercoat. Stirred the paint very well and applied. 6 coats later and I am still trying to get a finish coat. Absolute rubbish of a paint. Ronseal have some cheek to be marketing this paint as a two coat finish, not in a million years. I challenge ronseal to prove this to me, and on top of all this it is not cheap paint. Never again will I buy any of their products.

"Ronseal Fence Life Negative (not plus)!"
Have purchased Ronseal Fence Life Plus previously. Absolutely fantastic, two coats transformed a green fence I inherited to a lovely Slate colour.
That was 2 years ago! Just purchased exact same stuff and it's absolutely dire. Extremely thin, like a very thin soup. Coloured water as others described would be true also.
Terrible coverage, have resorted to a normal paintbrush as dripping off proper fence brush.
Had some old stuff, covered 3 fence panels with ease. This new stuff, not even done a panel yet and the mess is shocking.
Go Cuprinol next time. Or advise using store own brand at fraction of price if happy using thinner paint which will need more coats but saves you pennies for same thing with this previously brand that DID have a great reputation- those days are gone unfortunately
