Bad service! Boerewors delivered defrosted! Customer Service made not effort to fix, except to say ‘they could learn from it’ That didn’t help me, as I had too cook it all rather than pop them in the freezer and take out as we needed. Waste of money. Bye-Bye Limpopo as I can’t be done with poor service and failure to set things right! We are joining our 7 other mates who now also refuse to order from you and taking our business to Boerie Co. Basingstoke.

"After many purchases, you’ve lost us as customers! "
Four packs of boerewors arrived defrosted and shockingly in the same pack as our biltong! Food H&S hygiene standards not followed and secondly, defrosted packs cannot be refrozen. Despite buying these for a big bbq event end of the month, they had to be cooked before this! We emailed Limpopo to highlight this, but received the generic reply ‘as the sausage was still good, we’ll train our staff to pack better’
Totally failed to acknowledge the fact that insufficient ice packs for 4 sausage packs AND overloading the foil bags is what lead to defrosted food items. No refund in full or partial offered. In this day and age, this kind of service is accept - well in fact, it’s a lack of service!

"Hair found in the meet "
I was an existing customer, having purchased meat from this company before, only the last order I had reported an issue with it, as i have found a hair inside the meat. My wife was immediately put off, and wanted to throw it away. I decided to report the issue to Limpopo Biltong to see if they can do something with the situation and clear their name, though to my surprise, they have acknowledged the issue, but decided to not do anything in terms of refund etc. instead they have said, they will carry an internal investigation, and if needed they will re-train their staff, which is great as we don't want this disgusting thing happening to anyone else. I have paid £60 for a meat which is going to the bin, and they don't seem to care about my money, and my feelings as a customer. I have given them more than enough time to sort this out, though their silence confirms they have ended this case from their side, very very poor! Be aware people!!!

"Extremely rude shop owner"
Extremely rude shop owner. After walking an extra 10 mins and in a rush to beat the Twickenham rugby crowd. I waited by the door for 15 mins for the owner to serve one lady with a goal to make her laugh rather than serving a que of people patiently waiting. When I addressed him he has a very rude remark and said he will keeping clients waiting as it’s his shop and if they don’t like it they can go F*** themselves. Had been going there every so often but will never again support that clown. Any way his biltong is very average and overly priced.

I wish I read the reviews before I bought from this company.
I bought biltong last week from Limpopo that was meant to arrive on Thursday. No delivery attempt was made.
New date of Friday was given and even though I waited in for delivery the driver didn’t turn up but I got an email saying he attempted delivery which was not true and even checked through ring door bell footage to see if I missed it but I was just told a blatant lie.
I phoned limpopo and spoke to admin and he said refund would be given if the driver didn’t attempt delivery again today.
No delivery Friday or Saturday.
Limpopo are now radio silent with no replies to my emails about this matter.
Very poor customer service.
*Edit Limpopo have now emailed back saying they will send a driver to pick up the product that’s been left in my back garden*
Will update post if refund is received in due time
I can’t review the biltong I’m afraid as I didn’t receive the biltong but I wouldn’t waste your hard earned money here.
I will continue to chase this up using correct means

"Fabulous Biltong and service at Beckeham Market"
Wow, shocked by the reviews here! I was at the Beckenham Market on Sunday 14/4 and had fab service from the chap there. We tried a few different flavours (all of which were excellent) and went home with a bag of the chilli chutney biltong. I've just finished the packed and as I loved it so much, I thought I should write a review to support what I assume is a small business. Keep up the good work! Will be picking up more next time i'm in the area.

I ordered R1700 of biltong with lots of yellow fat, from OMG BILTONG. I received biltong with a thin layer of white fat. My dogs love it though. Won't buy from them again.

"Meat was 8 days late"
Meat was 8 days late. The store advised that it was stuck in transit and a fresh order would be sent.
The order finally arrived with the meat rotten, sweaty and packed in a polythene bag
I have asked for a refund given it’s inedible but no reply to my 4 emails or 4 voicemails
Avoid at all costs
