"Worst Swimming Costume I Have Ever Bought"

Terrible quality swimming costume, rude and unhelpful customer service. Really disappointed with Hunza G, if you are thinking of buying one - don't.

"Quality is awful- broken seams and stitching all over"

I am so gutted to be writing this, but the quality of my hunza g has been awful. My husband got me the pink Pamela swimsuit as a gift last year and it was a dreams- fit so nicely, was really comfy, looked great. However after wearing only a few times on one holiday, caring for as instructed, and treating really carefully, the quality has been shocking. Stitching coming undone in multiple random places all over- from the legs to the straps to the front and back top seams of the swimsuit. Loose threads hanging off all over and seams unrolling because of the broken stitching (I am a size UK 10-12 for reference so it isn't a question of fit). Messaged the customer service team with images of all the faults, as well as the internal labels proving it is genuine, but because my husband no longer has the receipts or order number customer service can't do anything. I have other higher priced swimsuits that have lasted beautifully (Zimmermann, oseree etc), but honestly the quality on this (and the time it has lasted) has been worse than one pieces I've purchased from h&m. So disappointed in both the costume itself and the customer care- I really wanted to love it and buy more but I just can't justify something that can only be worn 3 times. Only wish I could upload pictures too!

"Save Your Money"

I bought my first Hunza G swimsuit as I’m pregnant and I liked the idea of a swimsuit that could grow with my changing body. Since receiving it less than 3 months ago I have worn it around once a week to go for a swim. The costume is already visibly fraying. I tried to return the costume and have been told it’s my fault the material is coming apart. I’m at a complete loss how such an expensive swimming costume can be fraying after a short period of time when I followed all the care instructions, and then the company blames the consumer.

There are A-LOT of bad reviews about the quality of these costumes which I wish I had read before purchasing. Save your money!

Terrible quality. Does not last. The 1st bikini, the hem came apart after wearing once a week for 3 weeks. The store gave me a new one but 2 months later, the same thing happened again plus fraying of the fabric edges. This product feels like a scam. A swimsuit should last more than a season.

Amazing product!!!! Bought my swimsuit for my first summer holiday since having my daughter, I was really insecure at the thought of being half naked, but the swimsuit was brilliant! Great support in the chest, doesn’t slip about around the bum; and keeps shape. I love it!

"Unfortunately did not last :("

I have always raved about my Hunza G swimsuits to friends, I own three and they are always comfortable and flattering. However, after only wearing my blue one piece a handful of times (and taking proper care of it) I went to put it on and it had random patches wear the crinkle was completely stretched out. It had been a year since purchasing and I could not find my order number, therefore, Hunza G would not help. Quite disappointed with the lifespan of the bathing suit given the price tag. Can’t justify buying another if it won’t last.

"Expensive swims, cheap quality. Snugged and stains after 2nd wear"

I love these swimsuits because they are comfortable and perfect for lounging.

But after wearing them twice, after I wash and hang them dry they already got stains. I got the seersucker and the criss-cross back both in white and they both got the exact yellowish stain color. The quality is terrible, the stitches on the front are already snugged after second wear. Amber from customer service informed me that they won't be able to assist me because my swimsuit was purchased via a personal shopper, and there's a reason for that I asked the shopper to source me the criss-cross because I can't find it online anymore. I live on the beach, and from all the brands that I have this is the worst quality I have ever experienced. Not worth it for the $200 price. I wish I can post photos of how terrible the stitching of the swimsuits is. Customer service is also terrible! It's not worth the price.

RE to your response: this is after you told me that my swimsuit is fake. I bought two white swimsuit. The other one is still available in your website. And this was never used in chlorine. Washed in running water without any soap.

Do not buy this brand. Stitches already snugged and with yellowish stain after second use. Would love to post photos here if possible for proof. Amber is also not very helpful. Waste of money!

"I ordered a much desired swimsuit from…"

I ordered a much desired swimsuit from Hunza G that I had been saving up for. Couldn't wait to use it. Visualised myself on the beach whilst on holiday and swimming in it at our local pool, followed by a well deserved sauna afterwards. Oh hold on wait a minute! Hunza's are not to be used in swimming pools due to the chlorine! Oh no, can't pop into the sauna in it either as the material does not like heat. Nope, can't take that shower afterwards as that is also heat. Oh well, at least I can wear it to the beach...Oh sorry, no can do, sunscreens and lotions are not to make contact with it. Oh and to top it off no sitting on the dock of a bay watching the tide roll away as it mustn't touch any rough surface. Bang go my beautiful illusions. What can I use this costume for again? because it is obviously not for any swimming/water activity.

But I do love these costumes, but it seems they are for show / Instagram pictures only.

"Comfortable swimwear, super helpful customer service team"

I have a number of Hunza G bikinis. I contacted their customer care team because the stitching began to unravel on 2 of them - the issue was swiftly dealt with. They sent me a prepaid mailing sticker, I popped the swimwear into the post and have just had my mended swimwear returned to me. So impressed with their speedy resolution of my problem! Very grateful to Amber for all of her help!

"Terrible quality, don't buy"

I chose to invest in one of these bikinis as they’re marketed to last for many years so I thought it was a conscious, sustainable choice that justified the price.

After a few short holidays (I can count the number of times I’ve worn them), the fabric on the top has disintegrated and is now unwearable. Contacted customer care and was told I hadn’t followed care advice sufficiently (I had - I’d rinsed and washed them as directed, though also feel compelled to point out that using swimmers… to swim in… shouldn’t cause such swift and irreparable damage) and that as my bikini was out of their self-proclaimed “very generous” 12 month grace period, they wouldn’t replace it.

I’ve had much cheaper swimsuits - that I care for in the same way - that have lasted me years. Wish I’d read the other reviews before buying. Extremely disappointed by the unfounded sustainability claims and greenwashing, and that’s before going into the questionable one-size-fits-all claim.
