Swiftly completed and put into a format that is standard for employers (font, formatting, language, length etc.), all of my feedback was incorporated to some extent until I was satisfied with the outcome. Really good service which included a CV, cover letter template and LinkedIn profile re-vamp.

"Biggest waste of money"

Biggest waste of money. Writers use AI and the result is a disaster. My LinkedIn profile was hilarious and, as for my cv, it made me look like a joke. Avoid - the writers are not first language English speakers and do not understand what hiring managers are looking for. They even screwed up the job titles

"£50 Cancelation Fee"

I decided after buying one of their packages not to proceed with their service as my circumstances changed. I had uploaded my CV and example covering letters to their system as required but didn't complete their online questionnaire so they hadn't provided me a service at this stage. I contacted their customer service team and asked to cancel my account and reimburse the fee I had paid. I received an email from them approximately 5 days later stating that my refund had been denied, they said that because they are a "digital service that primarily offers non-tangible, irrevocable goods the sale of the package is generally final upon purchase." They then told me that if I truly wished to cancel they required a cancellation fee of £50! this was my response: "A £50 cancellation fee is a disgrace, completely unjustified and unlawful as they breach my consumer rights. Your company haven’t provided a service to me as I cancelled this and requested a refund before completing your questionnaire, therefore your fee is null as no service has been provided, and the only work carried out has been executed by myself in submitting my CV and example covering letters to my file.

I have served you notice to cancel and do expect a full refund irrespective of what you believe your company policy to be, this is my statutory right."

Their response to this was a full refund with no resistance. This is because they know that their so-called cancellation fee is unlawful and I am within my rights to be refunded in full.

I hope this serves as good advice to others who are told the same by TopCV.

"CV Critique - My Feedback"

My CV feedback was appalling and whilst I am not delusional, I know that my CV is not anywhere near as 'bad' as their conclusion .... so I decided to come here and look at the reviews. Sure enough, it's quite clear that they are vampirically capitalizing on people's anxiety over finding a job, and thus, use the same catastropic language across the board to manipulate you into signing up to their services (Exhibit A below):

"Sometimes you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover, but in the case of your CV, this just isn't true. I found your design to be visually uneven. The look and feel of your document do not convey "experience" as much as your actual accomplishments do. Remember that your CV is your marketing tool. It's the first glimpse a potential employer has of you"

Conduct of this nature is unethical and not to be trusted. Save your money and utilize online Open AI if you would like guidance and inspiration for your CV.

Please do not use. It's a scam! I asked them for a help in writing my CV as I was looking for a job and I had not response at all for a 3 months!! I redo my CV with professional and had 2 interview in a week. They are terrible
