One of my ordered items was delivered quite later than expected but you can’t fault customer service. My complaint was dealt by Arham and Salva who were really helpful and professional. Thank you both

False Guarantees & Poor Customer Service

I am incredibly disappointed with Moda Furnishings. We paid a premium price for their outdoor furniture, believing we were investing in high-quality products backed by a solid guarantee. Unfortunately, the company went bankrupt and was then reopened under the same name, but the guarantees they once proudly offered are no longer valid.

We had issues with the furniture, and despite reaching out to their customer service, all we've received are empty excuses from representatives who clearly have no intention of resolving our concerns. It’s frustrating to deal with a team of incompetent staff who seem more interested in brushing off complaints than actually helping customers. What makes it worse is the fact that they had marketed themselves as a premium brand, but their service and accountability are far from it.

Save yourself the hassle. There are better companies out there that value their customers and stand by their products, unlike the new Moda Furnishings.

"Garden corner unit "

We received our garden corner unit but there was an issue with the table. We phone Moda and it was replaced fastand without question Nothing is a problem and problems are solved quickly with excellent communication on delivery times and also by phone. The team are very efficient. Thank you once again.

We received our replacement garden box yesterday. Moda deliver an excellent delivery service and customer service. Nothing is a problem and problems are solved quickly with excellent communication on delivery times and also by phone. Sana and the team are very efficient. Thank you once again.

Great service. Shout out to Dara Arbaz who was extremely helpful throughout the whole process. My requirements were a little complicated (a return and an exchange where I also changed my mind along the way). Dara was patient and did exactly what he said he would do and phoned me along the way to keep me fully informed. 5 star service.

"Not as good as they were "

Previously had furniture from Moda and customer service has been excellent and the products have been great, this time service not great and not convinced quality is as good. Since found out Moda went into liquidation 2023 but new owners trading under same name.

I thought something was odd when I called up before making the purchase, I felt like I was talking to a robot. Every question I asked they would answer a different one. I actually ended the call by saying I would call back and hopefully get somebody different because I felt he was just been awkward. English was not his 1st language and that is why I persevered on the call as long as I did.

The 2nd call was a lady and again had the same issues where she didn't understand. Maybe the call centre has been outsourced out of the UK.

I decided to place the order online and used a discount code. Received a message on my credit card saying pending but nothing from Moda. I waited 2 weeks, no delivery or confirmation. Checked my credit card and it was no longer in pending or taken out. I called up and they had no record of my order so I had to order again but the discount code was no longer valid so it cost more.

Delivery drivers were great, they carried everything into the back garden for me and were very pleasant.

On opening the boxes there was mould on some of the furniture, I have washed this off as it was not worth the hassle of trying to contact them.

Assembly should have been simple but it wasnt, we tried everything and the screws were not fitting they didn't line up with the holes. In the end I went and got my own tool box and found it was assembled in about 10 mins. We had been trying for nearly 2 hours with the tools provided. When checking against my tools you could see the problem was that the size was all wrong. Why bother sending tools out if they don't fit.

Not had chance to use the furniture as had no good weather since they were delivered but hopefully they will be okay. Not sure I would order again, even though used them for many years.
