The whole point of a courier business is that they have to have the expertise to locate a delivery address. If they cannot then their usefulness to any seller and buyer is zero. I ordered an item through Amazon that was dispatched through Whistl. They have, apparently, tried three times now to deliver but have twice been unable to find my address (hint - a sat nav would help along with the ability to read a road sign) and today they claim my front door is not accessible. What are they doing? No other courier or delivery company has ever failed to locate me with the same address detail. All I can think is that they are in completely the wrong place - or not really bothering. Useless.

TBH if whistl cannot deliver last mile as stated in other reviews,and once handed over to royal mail cannot track what use are they I have been waiting on several packages that have not turned up,no problem,back on to eBay for a refund,but it's still frustrating not receiving item I think these cowboy firms should leave it to the professionals ROYAL MAIL yes they cock up but whistl ,evri,yodel and Hermes do more than just cock up they seriously cock up way above the professional and all because sellers are looking to make the most profit by using really crap delivery companies let's stop using these cheap companies and go back to basics stop making easy things hard with so much red tape nonsense and join all tracking numbers to one site because most of the time it just states tracking number provided and then not used some numbers easily tracked because it states it's royal mail but other numbers are hard to trace which company being used all sellers should state what company used for ease for customer surely this makes sense

I would have liked the option to award no stars.
I ordered a book from WeBuyBooks via AbeBooks on 12th March. Sadly, it was sent via Whistl.
A couple of days later I was told by Whistl that my book would be with me the next day, the 15th March. After waiting around expectantly I found, via their tracking page, that it had been marked as delivered. Of course, it was nowhere to be seen.
Subsequently, after checking with Whistl, the bookshop found that my book had been wrongly delivered (up the road to No. 25 - I live at No. 3). Visiting the address - in heavy rain - I was told that neither hide nor hair had been seen of my parcel.
Given it's their raison d’être I wouldn't have thought that the delivery of a small, letter-box-sized parcel would have been beyond Whistl's grasp; much to my annoyance it obviously is.
I feel particularly put out inasmuch as the edition of the book that was lost is not that easy to get hold of in this country.
Incidentally, I have purchased books from WeBuyBooks and AbeBooks on many occasions in the past and have nothing but good things to say about both companies.
WeBuyBooks has refunded me in full.

Got to be the worst delivery company around and they even make Hermes look good. They've had my delivery since Monday with a latest delivery of 8pm Saturday but it's now Sunday and it's still in their Depot

Terrible service, had my item for 3 weeks and has done nothing with it, I just applied for a refund from the seller. Absolutely disgraceful company to deal with.

Absolutely terrible company. Not worth even a penny of the delivery fee they charge. In the past I have expected deliveries from Amazon with them and even though I had to pay delivery with them they’re always incredibly late or do not turn up at all. I actually cancel orders if they’re being delivered by then now.
After talking with others about my terrible experiences with this company I found that other people I know have had similar experiences.

"Unacceptable Delays with Whistl InSight International Packet Delivery"
I recently had an experience with Whistl's InSight International Packet delivery service that I feel compelled to share. I placed an order on Amazon.co.uk on February 25, 2023, and my package was dispatched the following day. The tracking information provided by Whistl showed that my parcel was making steady progress through their network until it reached the WHISTL BEDFORD - 850 warehouse on March 1, 2023. Since then, the package has remained at the same location, causing immense frustration and disappointment.
It is important to note that deliveries through this service are typically completed within 10-14 working days, with slight delays possible due to customs processing. However, in my case, even accounting for these potential delays, the package should have arrived by March 11, 2023, at the latest. Yet, as of today, my parcel is still sitting at the Whistl warehouse in Bedford, with no updates or communication from the company.
The level of professionalism demonstrated by Whistl in this instance is highly disappointing. Allowing a parcel to languish in a warehouse for more than two weeks without any updates or explanations is unacceptable. As a customer, I expect reliable and efficient service from my delivery providers, and Whistl has fallen far short of these expectations.
In summary, my experience with Whistl's InSight International Packet delivery has been fraught with delays and poor communication. I urge potential customers to consider alternative delivery services to avoid the frustration and inconvenience I have experienced.

Item marked as delivered almost twenty minutes after delivering half of my order - where that other half is I have no idea.
Absolutely angered by the cavalier attitude they have towards this. It’s careless at best and theft at worst.
