"AVOID: Sent wrong product then encouraged to keep it (at a slight discount) before being told to pay to return to Germany"
Received my mat today, to discover it's the wrong product. They sent me a cheaper one meant for hard floors instead.
I contacted via email, but not before twice attempting to phone them up, kept on hold for a while before being force disconnected from them "we're busy or closed, bye".
A reply came from my email fairly quickly saying, accidents happen (fair enough), but would I accept a slight discount (16%) to just keep this item?
a) it's the wrong product for my floor
b) the one they sent was cheaper already
c) it's very rude to try and push this as a solution to the problem
Pretty poor behaviour from them, regretting using them already as it's going to now be a faff sorting a return out. After back and forth over email, they then offered 23% discount to keep the wrong item, and started using language suggesting they'd actually be saving me money on 'return costs' .After pressing for them to arrange a courier to collect and a full refund, they tried the tactic mentioned in other reviews - that it must be sent back to Germany at a cost to me. Under EU law that's not true at all. If goods you bought anywhere in the EU turn out to be faulty or do not look or work as advertised, the seller must repair or replace them free of charge or give you a price reduction or a full refund.
I've offered them a chance to remedy this, but they have now gone quiet. So it's time to get the credit card company in for a charge back.
DO NOT USE.

"I purchased this mat for my home office, poor quality and bad customer service"
I purchased this mat for my home office which has a carpet floor. After approximately 2 weeks of use the mat began to crack. I weigh 85kg and my chair is a normal office chair, however this design is clearly not made to withstand an average person.
I contacted customer service and they advised that this will only be refunded if I were to send the product back (to Germany - and pay for postage myself), so that they could inspect the product for defects. I stated that this is clearly not a defect but merely a design flaw, but unfortunately fell on deaf ears.
Needless to say I would strongly advise against buying this product or dealing with this company.

Oval Chair Mat for Carpet /Polycarbonate
Don't touch this company! The Mat was claimed to be crack resistant - it isn't. The company claims to genuinely aim to leave all of our customers happy - just empty words (unless you're into jagged pieces of the mat sticking into your feet)
They ask you to contact them if you have any questions - they just ignore you.

"Not recommended at all :("
Bought a carpet chair mat. It failed within 2 weeks. They asked me to send it back to Germany at my expense.
It is not fair to expect the consumer to fund return of a faulty product.
It is misleading to have a .co.uk website and a company called Floormats “UK” when the correspondence & returns address is in Germany.
This is not a UK company.

"The products are not fit for purpose"
The products are not fit for purpose
Ordered 2 carpet floor protectors, within a week one of them cracked
Company were kind enough to send a replacement but, unfortunate, it was not the correct one
I had to send them a photo to prove they had sent the wrong one, they asked me to send it back, to Germany, when I asked how they replied by saying, we cannot proceed with this under their terms
This is not a UK company, avoid their products as they are not fit for the purpose they were intended

"Terrible product and company"
The quality of these chair mats is terrible and not fit for purpose. Within a couple of months it has cracked in several places and the cracks are getting worse. I contacted the company and they have requested I send it back to Germany. I then stated that Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, it is up to the retailer to prove that the goods are fit for purpose and the fault was not there when originally purchased. This is applicable for the first six months of ownership which applies in this case. Since the cost of returning this item to Germany is higher than the value of the goods, the Consumer Rights Act also states that I am entitled to a full or partial refund instead of repair or replacement where the cost of the repair or replacement is disproportionate to the value of the goods. The company have now stopped responding to my emails and as others have noted, you cannot phone them. I will be notifying Trading Standards.

"Poor Floor Mat Product & Experience"
I have recently bought a Chair Mat for Carpet Floors - PRO Series (transparent) and with delivery, paid £ 54.95
One of the selling / marketing points is as follows:
crack-, curl-, break-, scratch- and yellow-resistant
Absolute nonsense, in less than 3 months, the product has cracked in several places. When dealing with the company via email, I found the support staff extremely unsympathetic and unaccommodating when describing the defect and to the point of sending supporting defect pictures.
I was told, please ship back and we will assess the product. My position on several attempts has been the product has failed, it's broken / splintered, unsafe and 120cm by 130cm large and extremely challenging to post back, no offer to reimburse postage costs either.
Do not buy products from this company, there product does not live up to the standards nor is their customer care post sales in line with how one would be expected to be treated in today's modern world where you would expect the customer to be more protected against such poor product and service.

"PRO Chair Mat for Carpet Floors – AVOID"
Please avoid this company.
Same story as everyone else;
Bought a pro chair Mat for carpeted floors to replace the one I'd had for 6 years at least.
Arrived late.
Used for about 2 weeks.
Cracked.
Tried to contact Floormats.co.uk via telephone, no answer from their London number.
emailed customer services, offered me a discount, I declined.
More cracks appeared, sent more photos, asked to send back to Germany
Explained wasn't going to do that.
email back saying sorry they needed to inspect the mat.
Sent reply explaining not fit for purpose etc, email ignored.
However, I raised a case with PayPal and have been refunded so I suggest that if you used PayPal or paid by credit card you should raise a case against these fraudsters and get your money back.
