"Appalling. I wish i had seen other peoples reviews"

I wish i had seen other peoples poor reviews before purchasing. I have had the same as a few other recent customers. My chair mat turned up all fine, but after 2-3 weeks use it cracked. I am not a heavy person. I contacted them to say its damaged and they advised i need to return it to Germany where they would assess before any refund would be sent. Nowhere on their website does it say returns need to be sent to Germany (although they do say returns are at my own cost). I also can't safely return the item to them anyway because if I roll it up and package it as being instructed it will just shatter into lots of pieces.

Appalling service stay well clear.

I have contacted them multiple times since receiving advise from Citizens Advise about my Consumer Rights which they are breaching. I am still fighting to get my money back. They are breaking the rules and should be held accountable. I even escalated to their parent company who are also ignoring me.

My advise stands, avoid this company at all costs. There are better companies out there and with better quality products.

"Never Ever"

This company is unhelpful when it comes to returning its substandard product. I purchased a floor mat from them to create a home office. The mat cracked in several places. On contacting them to resolve the situation they asked for the mat to be returned to Germany ( not the UK office) this cost twice as much as the product itself. I offered to send photos but they wanted the item back. The plastic floor mat was not fit for purpose as advertised to be used on a carpeted floor I would not recommend using them for this service.

AVOID AVOID AVOID
I received a supposedly good quality polycarbonate chair mat. After 3 weeks use it started to crack up. For an item costing so much I was very unhappy. Upon emailing Floor Mats UK I was told to return the item to GERMANY at my own cost. Called Floor Mats UK but based in Germany. What an absolute con. They charge top dollar for inferior quality items.

I got a refund via Paypal. I would advise anyone who used Paypal to buy a shoddy mat from this scam company open a case against them.

"POOR QUALITY - NO REFUNDS"

Very poor quality product which arrived damaged, after a lengthy exchange of emails they agreed to supply replacements but sent the wrong items. Further exchange of emails and told to send items to Germany cost which would exceed value of goods. Avoid this company, they are selling substandard goods and have no intention of giving refunds. So so wish I had seen the other reviews.

"Faulty goods need to be returned to Germany at my expense!"

I purchased a chair mat that I expected to be of high quality .. turned out to nothing of the sort ! The mat cracked within days of use. The Consumer Rights Act 2015 makes it an implied term of the contract that goods be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose!

I contacted to the company for a replacement - they refused and would only consider if I returned the item at my expense to Germany !

Any returns policy that says I have to cover the cost of returning items must only relate to the situation where I change my mind about the item ordered and not where there is a problem with the item.

Despite a number of emails to the company I have been ignored!

Poor quality product & extremely poor customer service. I specifically purchased the mat from FloorMats UK believing them to be based in the UK.

"Avoid at all costs."

A company selling non-merchantable products. My floormat lasted for only three weeks of light use. It has already cracked, and floormatsuk want me to return it to Germany at my own expense, and they will look into it. The 'UK' bit is the con. It's far too expensive to return a large item as this when there is no guarantee of recompense. Avoid at all costs.

TRASHY COMPANY HOW DO WE GET THEM SHUT DOWN FOR FRAUD AND MISREPRESENTATION???

First they didn't give me an account as their link didn't work so I could t access any tracking, secondly, it took 2 weeks for my mat to arrive.

3 weeks in and it has cracked. Pictures sent to support and requested a replacement.
No
Only option is to return to GERMANY, with no offer of covering costs, guarentee of refund, or packaging to send in.
Behave.
Trash company.

AVOID AVOID ...... how I wish I had checked the reviews before purchasing. Product arrived .... cracked and split within 2 days. Emailed them ..... the solution?? Send it back to Germany and we will look at it. If we think it is faulty we will tell you. No offer to pay for the shipment to Germany and NO indication if they would replace it if THEY think it is faulty. So risk £26 shipping plus the box for them to say it's fine. PLEASE AVOID this company --- spread the word.

My experience mirrors many others on here. Paid for the heavy duty mat and it cracked after less than 3 weeks use. Was told to return it to Germany at my expense which I was unhappy about as I thought I was dealing with a UK based company, as the name Floor Mats UK kind of implies. I tried to roll the mat up to put back into the box it was delivered in which luckily I had kept to use elsewhere, and it shattered completely with shards hitting my wife in the face. Its now in the box in fragments with sharp edges sticking through the box which is clearly dangerous for any delivery company. Like others, absolutely no response to emails when I raised this concern with them. There is a review on their website which says someone did get a replacement on the strength of a photo, but they are not supporting that now. AVOID THIS COMPANY

"Awful experience…"

Awful experience with this German company posing as a UK company.

Purchased a chair mat on the 8th June, received on the 15th June. A crack appeared on the 8th July, contacted customer service on the 10th July and was told to send the mat back to Germany for inspection at my own expense. A 120x90cm flat-packed mat is not something I can afford to ship overseas, but customer service refused any other way and told me I couldn’t get a refund unless I sent it back. I instead told them I can send pictures which clearly show the damage, and after sending this on the 14th July I have received no further communication. Two further emails were sent, one of them via PayPal but still no reply. On the 6th August I started a claim with PayPal as I think this is the only way I’ll get my money back.

Don’t bother with this company, I really wish I had read these reviews before purchasing from them.
