I bought a carpet protector from floor mats uk for under an office chair while working from home. The money was taken straight away but after 4 weeks I contacted them as it had not arrived. When it did arrive, within less than 2 months with twice weekly usage the mat cracked and broke. I was promised a refund, which did not materialise (I sent photos as evidence). I was then informed I would have to post it to Germany, at my hassle and expense to have it ‘tested’ for faults before I would be offered a replacement or money back. I paid double what I could have bought a similar product from Amazon for utter rubbish and terrible customer service

At the end of June, I purchased a Chair Mat (Pro Series) for our study chair. Our existing PVC mat (from a local office products company) had started to wear after 3/4 years and I was attracted to this company's polycarbonate mat as it was advertised on their website as a "High Lifetime" and "Crack and scratch resistant" product.
The product appeared in good condition when received in early July but after less than 2 weeks in situ (on a low pile carpet as required) it started to develop major cracks in several places and is now totally unusable.
I emailed the London office of this company enclosing photos and requesting a refund. The response was that I had to return this to their German parent company at my own expense for investigation. In view of the size and weight of this product in relation to its cost (circa £40), I declined as this was neither cost effective and without any guarantee that a refund would be made.
In my opinion (clearly shared by others) this product is defective and should have been removed from sale.
DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT !!

Same as pretty much all below, avoid them at all costs. The mats are poor quality and their returns address is in Germany so you might as well just call it quits when the mat breaks after a week of use.

They will offer like a £10 refund. I paid £50 for a mat and it was terrible.

I have had the same experience as so many others here. The mat I received was terrible quality and broke within a couple of weeks of receipt, customer service insisted on a return to Germany and refused to cover return costs. This is clearly a scam, avoid at all costs. I will be raising a dispute in PayPal and suggest others do the same.

*Update* PayPal found in my favour when I submitted a dispute (I included a link to these trustpilot reviews) so I encourage anyone else affected by this to do the same and get your money back!

As per the long list of complaints here, I too have fallen victim to what could be considered a scam. Ignored emails and products unfit for purpose.

I must ship at my own cost back to Germany for them to inspect the broken mat they said, before I can receive my refund, knowing full well it wasn’t cost effective for me to do so.

Save yourself the hassle, don’t have anything to do with this company.

Basically liars and con artists. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! They told in writing me a mat was fit for purpose and it wasn’t. When it broke they asked me to ship it to Germany knowing fine well that would cost as much as the mat. When I highlighted this fact they said that was my only option - take it or leave it.

Bought a chair mat 2 months ago and regret choosing this company which is mainly based in Germany even though the web address would imply otherwise. Delivery time is very poor, Cracks were appearing after a month and I have now had to dispose of the mat as it was falling to pieces after it had cracked so badly. Would recommend that this company is avoided.

Awful customer service - in fact, no customer service. Paid £200 for x2 mats and have not received anything, no replies to my emails. Will be issuing a fraudulent claim and chasing my money back. Wish I checked reviews/Facebook earlier. Very upset and disappointed.

I regret ever buying from them and would never buy again. I bought a floor mat supposedly for use with an office chair on a carpet floor. Started cracking within a couple of days of use (and I am not a heavy person!). Customer support insisted I post it back to Germany first at my own expense without any guarantee of a refund.
