"VOI voice is confusing"
I love SpellingCity it's amazing but the voice over internet voice is hard to understand and sometimes people get the words wrong because if they could remove that and maybe keep one voice or maybe a customize voice area it would be good.

"I feel better after reading the other…"
I feel better after reading the other reviews because I thought it was just me and my students! Since becoming vocabulary a-z we have had a horrible experience. I can no longer set assignments to be completed on certain days so children are racing through an entire week's worth of work in 10 minutes and getting zero benefits. I keep emailing for help and get no response. Last week, every time the students finished an assignment it would glitch and they had to redo it - sometimes several times.

"Are you kidding me"
Are you kidding me! We have used Spelling City for years and now that millions of people are out of jobs and forced to homeschool This well-loved useful educational tool has decided to up the charges from 35$ a year to 108$ per year. They don't transfer any of your previous lists and the stupid sight crashes and doesn't save students' work. If the goal was to ruin one of the best spelling tools for kids then great job. It made no sense to revamp the site it worked perfectly well as it was and it was stupid to try to force your customers to pay for your NEW crappy site. Shame on the people who decided this was the way to treat your customers. If you needed a way to save money then Fire your idea team and your IT department and put everything back the way it was.

"The switch to Vocabulary A-Z is a nightmare!!!!"
Don't waste your money. I am so disappointed that I spent the time uploading all my lists and preparing for the year because Spelling City was a fantastic site and Vocabulary A-Z is awful! I can't believe that we were forced to switch. I have countless students who take tests that won't save and end up in tears. There is no way to view test results unless you look up one student at a time. AWFUL changes!!!

"I want to give this program 0 stars"
I want to give this program 0 stars. I’m so angry about the switch during the middle of the school year. I would like a refund. This is not what I paid for. The new platform is terrible. I’ve used the old one for years. I will never use this again.

"The forced change from Spelling City to…"
The forced change from Spelling City to Vocabulary A-Z has been HORRIBLE. The best "behind-the-scenes" stuff that I, a teacher, loved about Spelling City did not "survive" the move to Vocabulary A-Z. The new site is not worth the money! Do NOT subscribe!

"If I could give this platform NO STARS, I would!"
If I could give this platform NO STARS, I would have. My students loved Spelling City, and it was fairly easy to figure out. Vocabulary Spelling City is so difficult to navigate. I had to set aside a few hours of my vacation time to figure it out. Clearly a case of "If it ain't broke, break it."

"I give it a 0."
I give it a 0.
Spelling City is the worst spelling site in the world. The peoples voices bore me to death. RIP your ears if wearing headphones. I mean, Are they even people? And why is Spelling City not connected to google classroom? I will tell you one thing, waste of money. Who would pay 35$ a year for a family or over 65$ for a classroom? For this stupid of a site, it would not even be worth a penny. Also, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS!

"It would be zero if possible"
It would be zero if possible. Have been using Spelling City for years. Since the switch I have had nothing but headaches. It has taken away teacher control over assessment. It is unwieldy, definitely not user friendly. The students were excited but that quickly vanished once they saw that their work does not always register as complete. I have received absolutely no responses to any emails. Bye Bye!!

"I just had the most terrible experience…"
I just had the most terrible experience with the new format. It is difficult to navigate, difficult to assign work, difficult to find students passwords since it is no longer linked to Google Classroom. Has anyone been successful in getting their money back?
