"Good tour"

Good tour. I would recommend. I had my mom and my aunt both +70 take this tour. Good accommodation. Good sightseeing for 4 day trip. Only issue was restrooms in the buses were not working and there was bus changes at various point of times which was inconvenient for the old ladies.

We did the 2 day Niagara and thousand islands tour. A great destination, but horrible experience with the guide and the bus. It's a good tour if you are Chinese! The guide was a Chinese girl who couldn't speak English ...or spoke in butchered English making it very hard to understand. It made it more difficult especially since we were being given 10 mins for breakfast and 30 mins for lunch both days...forcing us to have Chinese food at Chinese restaurants! She even commanded us to "not go anywhere and eat only at the Daily Buffet" on our way back from Niagara.
The bus had torn, stained seats, and had a very bad smell. We were also explicitly asked to not use the toilet inside.
Overall, the destination was awesome, but the experience was really bad. I would NOT recommend using this tour.

I have to cancel a trip due to the change of a plan. However I couldn't get help from anyone on TakeTours by submitting a ticket, call or live chat. Now it's pass the refund policy date. This is ridiculous. This is scam, I want my refund back!

"5-Day Vancouver"

5-Day Vancouver, Canadian Rockies Tour from Vancouver. Don't waste your money, you can do the same tour in half the time at 1/3 of the cost.
Seeing the Canadian Rockies can be done by bus, truck, trailer, camper, car, motorcycle, bicycle or on foot and I saw it being done by many.
Take Tours will get your money and sell your trip to the lowest bidder who will subcontract the tour (1st Express). T
2 days were spend on infomercials selling you wine, honey, ginseng as you stop along the way touring commercial facilities. 2 days spent sight seeing of the Rockies and surrounding lakes and selling you other activities for an additional cost. 3 days eating the same food 3 times a day. Taking the tour bus was like taking public transit but unlike public transit you cant get off at any stop to pee. The best thing about the bus was most of the passengers as we met some good people. As stated before don't use Take Tours unless you have read the fine print and confirmed all the details including WHO is the TOUR COMPANY. Please be aware that you will need to pay $9/day/person plus additional fees that are included in the fine print after you bought your tickets. My suggestion is that you buy a guide book, rent a car and do it yourself.

"NOT ADA, Mandatory fees??? Bad Hotels"

Just returned from 5 day 4 night East Coast.
I am an American age 64. I was 1 of 4 Americans on the tour of 28 people. TAKE TOURS, TOURS FORFUN, TOURS R US are all the same call center located in NY ChinaTown. I was their twice! Saw and heard their operation. Each tour differs in cost! Some have optional on venues-others were to pay for all venues!!.

The 2nd day out we were told where the ATMs were located and that we would be paying for all the venue fees and tips for tour guide and bus driver tomorrow morning.,(approx $500 per person!!) I had my trip itinerary on my phone with (optional) after each listing. I Immediately shot a text to our tour guide that we were NOT going to every Venue. He shot back it was MANDATORY I shot back with my email from TAKE TOURS......he backed right down. I saw everything I wanted for $184. (That included 5 days tip also) My friend paid $214 because she wanted 1 more item.

THIS IS NOT AN AMERICAN TOUR! it is designed for Asian, Vietnamese, Hindu, people from India. Our guide spoke 3 languages. It was designed to get glimpse into American life.(this is where "Independants Declaration" was signed) ??•\|□■€¡¿
We drove clear to Pennsylvania to EAT BREAKFAST at Asian diner and had to be back on the bus at 8:50 am........the Liberty Bell exhibit didn't open until 9 am and we could not stay!!!
The rooms were disgusting! No cups. Ice bucket. IF YOU CAN Handle everything I have mentioned.......THIS IS NOT A TOUR FOR SENIORS especially if you have knee, back or arthritis problems-NO ADA GIVEN!!! 2 of our group left 3 days early and forfieted their money because they could not endure anymore!!!

"Absolutely HORRIBLE"

I've just completed the "6 Day" Yellowstone National Park, Mt Rushmore and Grand Teton Tour from Denver, Salt Lake City Out Tour. What an absolute disgrace it was. This should be advertised as a tour for Chinese tourists. My trip had 80-90% Chinese tourists which is wonderful to see them enjoy such magnificent scenery. But if you are English speaking, do NOT do this tour. I travelled from Australia to see the beauty of middle America and to learn its history. Instead we had a Chinese tour guide who spent a small amount of time speaking in fractured (actually, butchered) English that we often couldn't understand, and a much greater percentage speaking Chinese. For day to day communication, that's fine. But for a Tour Guide in an English speaking country it is totally unacceptable. He was also either defensive when issues were raised, or simply claimed not to be able to do anything about it. Another reason why it should be advertised as a Chinese tour of America is the bias towards Chinese tastes. On 3 occasions we were taken to Chinese buffet restaurants with little other choice. The chair lift in Wyoming was a classic example. We passed numerous varieties of food providers but HAD to eat at the Chair Lift venue. Another Chinese buffet- no choice. Let's move on to the other issues. No wi-fi on the bus as advertised. 3 days out of five I was seated in the back row of the bus against the engine and next to the toilet. Because I was travelling alone!!! Obscured vision through half a window. A couple of the hotels were quite okay. A couple other were terrible. Smelly, dirty and devoid of room amenities (eg. No fridge, faulty lights etc). And finally (and this is from a very bitter memory right now) it is NOT a 6 day tour. Day 1 we left Denver at 12 midday and were taken to our hotel at 4.30pm. Day finished. Day 6 we were "dumped" at the airport at 10am. It is advertised that people must book flights AFTER 1pm. My only flight option was 7pm. I was not expecting to be dropped off at 10am. So now I have 9 hours before my flight. So, not even half a day on day 1, and less than 3 hours on day 6. Not quite a 5 day tour advertised as 6. The best thing this company could do is refund my money. Thank god the bus driver was terrific because this is the worst tour I have EVER been on.

The tour is excellent and with reasonable price But need improvement in some areas In some places the given time is not sufficient Hotel was very good and comfortable We highly recommend this tour
