"Poor Customer Service outside of Warranty"
My system hasn't been working properly for over a year! I've gone through the troubleshooting and 3 hour phone calls. I finally get a tech scheduled and they've CANCELED & RESCHEDULED twice! Not once have I received a confirmation call, text or email. I'm supposed to have service tomorrow 07.03.23 but have NOT received a confirmation. I'm really getting irritated, I spend almost $70/month for bad & faulty system & service. Please, whomever is in charge of end user service DO YOUR JOB!

"Don’t sign up a contract with Fluent!!!!"
I have been a fluent customer over 6 years. I called fluent customer service to cancel my service because I was planning to rent my place to make a long story short it took me more than 8 months to cancel my service with them. Fluent customers service told me to email in order to cancel my service which I did but they still fluent keep send me a bill after I rented out the place. Finally today after 8 months of paying a bill for my tenants I closed it down…. Hopefully 🥵🥵🥵 it literally cost me lots of money to close down this account. I don’t want nobody to go through this I’ll just set up my own security system.

"Terrible customer service"
Terrible customer service! Was with these jokers for 4 years camera stopped working a year in called twice was told they wouldn't fix it twice! Called today as my contract is up to cancel was told even though it was month-to-month I had to give a 30 day notice & would still have to pay the following months bill! Ridiculous excuse of a company

"Fluent Alarm"
I've had a Fluent system for three years. We have a main panel and a remote panel in my shop. We have had a ton of false alarms generated by the remote panel. Now the remote panel will not communicate with the main panel. I spent two hours on the phone with a tech. He finally said my panel is obsolete and needs to be replaced. I asked for a service tech to look at the panel. I was told Reno is considered a remote area and it could be 3 weeks before a tech could come out from SLC. So no alarm for 3 weeks and I have to buy a new panel.

"Cancellation was near impossible, charged for 2 years of no service"
We got fluent in 2017 on a 5 year contract (not mentioned by the salesman). In 2021 we switched to a more affordable option through Telus. We tried to cancel months in advance of the contract ending to ensure we would no longer be charged. We emailed and were told we had to call the "resolutions team" - which we did many times and never got through or received a call back. We kept trying and trying, calling and emailing, we got the runaround every time. Eventually our credit card expired (as they do), and we did not provide fluent the new information. We received overdue payments from API (who now owns fluent), and through that we were able to at least get contact, and we provided proof that we had tried to cancel for over a year. We didn't receive a response back.
Then somehow charges started appearing again in 2023 on the new credit card. I called again and the person told me they would call me back, they never did. After silence from the company I went to my bank and filed the charges through them, which finally ended the 2 year saga. This is a joke of a company and I strongly feel they are scamming people.
