"Worst company ever."

Sent a cancelation letter as requested as our contract was up and we were moving away. They keep trying to take payments every month and now have sent it in for collection. I don't want to spend money on a lawyer but might have to yet.
Stay away from security companies and do it yourself, less money and works as good.

"Impersonate their competitors to scam customers"

A gentleman by the name of Alexander Dalrymple came to my door. He had noticed the Vivint security sticker on my door. He told me that he was with Fluent, but that "Fluent is the Canadian branch of Vivint"; that they are "the same company". He started asking about how things were going, saying that they like to check in with their customers. He said that they were offering their "existing customers a $300 annual rate reduction and throwing in a free video door bell" and that we could "keep all the same equipment, they just had to swap out our main alarm panel".

Vivint Canada and Fluent are competitors..NOT THE SAME COMPANY. The fact that this individual was pretending to be with Vivint and acted as though we were his existing customers is disgusting and pathetic. This is fraudulent and illegal business practice. I get that it's a Canadian company, but I'll keep supporting international companies if this is how this company operates.

"DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY"

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Go somewhere else. I have UN expired tinctures from them that turned rancid and ineffective- FIVE MONTHS BEFORE EXPIRATION and they REFUSE to do anything about it. I stored them in cool, dry place. NO excuse for this except they are selling crap and have no integrity. There are many other options of dispensaries that take care of their customers! I am reporting them to the Florida Department of Health! --I encourage everyone who has experienced same to do so also. Do not allow dispensaries thrive who do not uphold simple business ethics!!

"This company is so slimy!"

This company is so slimy!! Do not get roped into this fraud! This is what I regret doing most in my life is signing up with this company! It ropes you into a 5 year contract, the system never works correctly, and then after the five years it auto renues for another year contract without your permission or signature and you end up having to spend money on lawyers to get yourself out of the contract! If I can even save one person from this nightmare that has become my life because of them it’s worth the time to tell every review site on the internet! Please, please do not start a contract you can never get out of!!

"Fraud.. All lies... 5year contract... beaware"

So on August 4, 2 person from fluent rang my bell, they explained me the fluent security services. I told them i don’t want to go with any contracts. They said it is no contract plus free installation, no upfront cost. They started showing me videos on iPad. I said i am looking for security system in my house and talked to several companies but i am not signing any contract for 3or 5 years. I am not in rush. He said i can cancel it any time without penalties and fluent answer the phone within a minute. I ask them about 20 times if it is a contract where i have to pay the equipment charges. He said no i don’t have to pay any penny. The technician will come and take the equipments back for you, if you will cancel it. they said they are trying to make the name in the market why do they do so. I trusted them as i was looking for
security alarm system and cameras. He asked my details and ask to sign, before signing i ask
Both the reps to make sure if i want to cancel in few months i don’t have to pay for equipments, he said yes i don’t have to pay for anything. I signed it on the iPad then he called the technician right away. He said the tech will be here in less than 20 minutes and they waited until he arrived. The technician started doing his job and the 2 representatives left. And in the meanwhile I received an email from fluent about the agreement where it says it is a contract for 5 years worth $5257.20. Yes i can cancel it anytime but i have to pay the remainder. There was no agreement before you sign with them but then later you will receive an email. I was about to cry how could someone lie to you to that extent when you confirm the same thing with the person 30 times.
The technician was in the basement hooking up wires. I went to him and told him everything. He stopped it right away and started apologizing. He said he didn’t even started doing his stuff. He said he will leave and will talk to management. I ask him if they will charge me for that he said no because I didn’t sign anything with him, because he didn’t install anything the agreement will cancel automatically. Because 10 day cancellation warranty is there i need not to worry. I texted the representative in front of the technician and there he said of course it is a contract for the Equipment. By the way i have that conversation in my phone. I don’t understand why they just don’t say it is a contract for 5 years, let them leave on the customer if they want it or not. What do they think people will not know about it. You cant make your business successful by fooling the people. I will make sure none of my family friends or their families will not even open the door for fluent. Thank you

"Just had one of these clowns show up…"

Just had one of these clowns show up at my house canvassing at 9pm at night and wouldn’t take no for an answer, my wife answered the door and had said we have other means of security and he’s like what guns? Made her feel really uncomfortable, like who says that? After I heard that I was steaming... come back I dare you!!!

"I do not recommend"

I do not recommend. You pay for a service that does not work. 2 years in and my equipment is beeping constantly with error messages. I’ve spent 3 hours on the phone just today trying to resolve the beeping. Was notified during one call that the signal in my house is nearly non existent and has been for a while. Not sure what I’m paying for, but if I cancel it will cost $1,800 to get out of the contract. Extremely disappointed and feel taken advantage of.

"Terrible....don't ever sign up"

Terrible....don't ever sign up. Customer service is awful. Trying to cancel after your contract ends has been impossible. Been given the total run around for a month now and it still hasn't been canceled 😡
