"Move from hell"
Move from hell. They hired to the moon services LLC who destroyed and ruined and lost everything. They are responsible for who they sub out the move which I didn’t get your name until almost that day. They were the worst movers ever they kept upping their price. They were throwing my stuff off the truck everything I own is damaged plus I’m missing many things and I have things that don’t belong to me. Never ever ever go through this company. They are passing me off from one person to the next I’m getting no satisfaction I’m ready to hire an attorney. Kathleen Neill

"The World's Most Aggressive Salesman?"
The moving service might be great, for all I know. I chose to avoid them. The salesman who contacted me was rude and belligerent - almost from "Hello". I have 3bdrms (for almost 9 years) but "Brian" wrote up the quote as "2 bdrms" (cheaper). I noticed the difference, but "Brian" didn't change the quote. Instead, he sounded upset and accused me of telling him the wrong information. I strongly believe this was intended to be a "bait-and-switch." I wrote to customer service to note my discomfort. Brian called back the next day to try to convince me I had spoken with someone else, but then read his notes from our conversation to me. His impression was that we had a "great" conversation and that his quote was half of my other quote from a competitor. He wrote that I suddenly hung up for some reason. Perhaps I thought his 50% discount sounded like a worse offer than the competitor. Belmont might be great, but this one guy is not doing them any favors. None of this had to happen.

"This is a scam company"
This is a scam company. They provide you with an itial quote, and then send you closer to the date of the move an inventory sheet to validate the quote. Filled out the inventory, sent it in and never heard back from them. the day of the move the sub-contracted movers show up, not Belmont and triple the price of the initial quote. The wont move anything until you pay the new price. Then it was guess work as to when my stuff would arrive at my new location. When I got the quote I was told 2 days after the pickup, but when the movers showed up it could take 4-7 days. After many hours of phone calls, the subcontracted firm said the best they could do was 3 days. I also was not told that my stuff would be moved out of the truck, put in a warehouse, until another sub-contracted firm picked it up. When finally delivered and they won't start unloading until; you pay the remainder of the bill. The furniture was damaged, boxes where crushed and they lost a dresser to a very expensive matched bedroom suite. That was Sept 17th,22 and as of today Oct 14 I still not not have my dresser and they do not know what to do about it.
Do not contract with Belmont.
I have been contacted by Trustpilot that Belmont wants more information to help them improve. If Belmont is interested please contact me directly. here is their Job Number B6918281
Belmont Moving and
Storage did contact me after I posted this and they said they would correct the problem. That was 2 weeks ago and I have been in contact with them several times since then and they still have not addressed any of the issues. They keep telling me that they are not responsible because it was their subcontractor who caused the problem but I keep telling Belmont that I signed the contract with the, Belmont hired the subcontractor so Belmont is responsible.
I have been in touch with the Florida Attorney Generals Office who have informed me that I am not the only one who has been scamed by these moving brokers. The Attorney General is taking action and they have asked me to contact the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration with my complaint. This organization issues the licenses for interstate moving.
Please do not hire Belmont Moving and Storage.

"Belmont Moving…a worse than poor experience."
Belmont Moving is a broker company, something they hide in the small print and fail to provide transparency when contracting with them. They provided a quote that was not remotely close to what was charged. The company that they sent arrived at 1:30 am and more than tripled the charge stating that they could just not do the job but the almost $1000 deposit I had paid to Belmont would be forfeited. As I had to move, I felt compelled to paid the significant increase. A move that was identified by Belmont to cost approximately $2,000 was over $7,000. But that wasn’t even the worst part of the experience. After loading the items, I was informed that it could take up to 3 weeks to receive my belongings. In reality, it took slightly less, only 19 days, with arrival at 7:30 at night. Once the unloading began, it was obvious that there was significant damage to furniture, in fact every piece of furniture. Not only were so many items damaged, but there are significant things missing. There are at least 6 large boxes, including items that are irreplaceable. Among missing items was bedding. How does one bring box springs and bed frame but lose the mattress. I have attempted to follow up with the company Belmont sent, but have not even received an acknowledgment that I have attempted to contact them. They fail to answer their phones, their voice mailbox is full and email goes unanswered. This has been one of the worst experiences I have ever had. I am struck by the statement from the individual I initially spoke with at Belmont when working to identify a company with which to contract. He proudly stated that Belmont moves many of our military. I have to say that certainly our military deserves significantly better than this company.
Also, after review was posted, TrustPilot contacted me to state this company had asked for additional information (order #). I sent it but am clueless as to why Belmont asked for it. Was it simply to appear concerned or following up? I have heard nothing from them. I even sent a copy of a certified letter sent to the company they contracted the move to, no response or acknowledgment from Belmont. The other company won’t even pick up the letter sent certified to them.

"HORRIFIC"
0 STARS!!! If I could use a time machine to go back in time and NOT hire this company I would. First off, I was never told my things would take about 2 weeks to arrive, but by the point they told me that, I was only days out from moving, so I just thought it would be fine. It ended up taking them about 6-7 weeks to deliver my things.Throughout these weeks, anytime I would call and ask for an update, NO ONE would give me a direct answer. I honestly thought about filing a police report because all of my stuff was just gone. After I finally got my stuff, I noticed multiple pieces of furniture were chipped, desk chair wheel had been broken and my mattress was covered in dirt. But I was so damn tired of dealing with this absolute hell of a company, I just decided to get over it and move on from this experience. Today, I go to turn on my $500 recently purchased TV (which they charged me an extra $100 to box up) and it is broken. It’s clear something smashed the screen. So I paid an extra $100 for them to “protect” my TV only for them to ruin it. I am so furious I spent almost $3000 for them to break my belongings and generally just not give a crap about me as a customer through this entire process. Please save yourself the trouble and loss of money. DO NOT USE.

"Do not trust this company"
Do not trust this company. Do not use them. Their sales advisor (Blake Stephens) assured me that my deposit would be refunded if my move did not happen. Instead I was told by their customer service that the deposit is non refundable. Blake is not returning calls or emails.
This company clearly does not have any morals and does not care that one of its employees provided false information just to keep my deposit.

"DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!"
If I could give negative stars I would. First - they showed up two days late and at 1:30 AM. Then they said they would have my mother’s items here the next day - they arrived weeks later. When they did arrive - EVERY piece of furniture was broken - every single piece. There are multiple boxes missing. They brought the bed frame but no bed. The list goes on and of course now - no contact. If you want any of your belongings after you move - DO NOT CHOOSE THIS COMPANY!

"Please stay away from Belmont Moving & Storage"
Please be aware that Belmont Moving & Storage is not a real shipping company but a broker. BMS is not responsible for anything. They just give you an estimate, which looks very attractive being way below the competitor’s prices. When you are hooked up, you start dealing with its partner/subcontractor Luxury Logistics, LLC, and guess what… the final cost appears to be at least twice higher than estimated. Both companies have failed us on numerous levels throughout this transactional service - First, they were unable to provide us with a moving truck on the promised day of our signed agreement, or the following day. This caused us the loss of our booked travel/moving tickets, exceeding our move-out contract date contingency with the new homeowners, and extreme emotional and physical turmoil with trying to locate a moving truck/company last second to attempt to move our items out of the home. Once the truck finally showed up, not only did they bring an insufficient-sized truck that did not load all of the items we needed to be removed, but they had spent time up until 5 AM the following day loading our items with the new owners present in the home. Aside from this incompetence and delay, most of our furniture and boxed items were entirely damaged or destroyed upon delivery AND furniture and items were lost/undelivered. After spending over $14,000 for your services just to have you deliver, essentially, garbage, infuriated is putting it lightly. For a company that people rely on to deliver their valuables and help them through a vulnerable time as it is, this is truly despicable behavior, which the companies allow themselves the leisure of by trapping customers in one-sided contracts, taking no responsibility for something as horrid as destroying almost the entirety of peoples valuables and livelihoods. We will be going public with all of these concerns and our terrible experience with both companies.
