"worst service I have ever received"

worst service I have ever received. ignorant and careless, Now is 7 days All stages completed just printing left, they have not printed!!! spoke to them and said printing needs 5 days. it is one click and nothing else. I can not work for 2 months now just because of them. better to apply benefit than this horrible service and start working after 3 months.

Would give 0 star if possible. Absolutely ridiculous service . I'm waiting for my dbs check 52 days already and I can't see the end. 9 days ago I phoned them to ask what's going on, someone pick up the phone only to say they have experiencing high volume of calls and someone call me back as soon as they can... still waiting.... I found online that averagely it takes around 2 months (may be less may be more) which for me is completely ridiculous nowadays, in digital age. Ignorants and one more time ignorants.

I applied for a DBS on April 6th through an agency. DBS claim to have only received it on April 20th (I don't know whether the agency or DBS are lying to be honest). I would not put it past either of them.

It used to take two weeks, but it's now May 19th and I still haven't received my application, and I still can't work.

They claim it was sent off in the post on May 16th, having called them, having called them I have established they have sent it second class and it will take a further 5-7 working days. Not content or taking over a month to do the DBS check, they are so tight and stingy they won't even pay the extra 42p for a first class stamp, even though we pay £38 for the whole service. You'd think there would be some kind of incentive to get the certificates out faster when you know there are delays in your service, that you literally charge for, but no.

I am out of pocket £100 a day, every day I cannot work, and they've decided to prolong this, all for the sake of 42p.

DBS also refuses to chase up the police force carrying out the check for 60 days, meaning people waiting for their certificates have no accurate time-frames for when they will be able to start work. I should have started my new job on 4th May, but I still haven't been able to. I imagine some employers eventually lose patience as well, and people lose their jobs over this.

I am still waiting for my DBS check which was paid for on the 22 March. I start a new temp position in a School on the 15th May and without it I cannot start and will miss out on work.

It appalling and unprofessional not to mention Anxiety inducing.

Terrible, ridiculously over complicated.....it's hardly CGHQ ....get a grip gov, pay your contractor for producing USER friendly pages not this silly stuff

They advertise the E-certificate and all the info within 24 hours. Called today - they don't do e-certificates anymore but still believe its worth £80 for the not-so 'rapid service' instead of £18 direct on Gov website. Please do not waste your money.
