"Avoid ! - spare yourself the trouble"
I was advised to go with this company and decided to go ahead as the greater the cost, the greater the quality... right?
Wrong. I was sold a number of faulty products including a resin tray which doesn't fully drain leaving a large puddle in the centre, the manufacturer blamed the installation for the fault. They also sent a plug that goes down, but not back up, and a basin that doesn't fully drain, then the replacement was also faulty and I am still in dispute as they are saying there is a 'threshold' for imperfections.
I would avoid if you have the option as their products are very overpriced and have caused a lot of upset, delays, and imperfections in what could have been my dream renovation.

"Eastbrook bath defect and worthless 25 year guarantee"
Bought an Eastbrook (Malin 1600 x 700 SE) bath last August through City Plumbing. In November the bath developed a crack. Sent photos of crack to Eastbrook who insisted it was not due to a defect and was due to either an installation fault by my bathroom fitter or something had been dropped in the bath to cause the crack and their 25 year guarantee did not cover this type of crack. They refused to send anyone to inspect the bath and advised that I would need to get an industry expert to look at the bath if I did not agree with their assessment. The bath was installed correctly and I hadn’t dropped anything in the bath. Eastbrook and City Plumbing maintained it wasn’t a defective bath until I quoted the consumer rights act 2015. They then offered me a free replacement bath but wouldn’t pick up the costs for taking out the old bath and fitting the new one which amounted to twice the cost of the bath. I spoke to Citizens Advice and followed their guidance on what to do. After 6 months of arguing with Eastbrook and City Plumbing and the threat of going to the small claims court, City Plumbing agreed to pick up the rectification costs. Eastbrook supplied a new bath but refused to give the 25 year guarantee on it, which City Plumbing acknowledged was wrong and so have provided me with their own 25 year guarantee. On removing the bath I cut a section out of it around the crack and found that the acrylic is only 1mm thick when it is supposed to be 5mm thick. I have sent an email and photos of this to Eastbrook but have not had a response yet. The reason for writing this review is to advise anyone who is thinking of purchasing a bath from Eastbrook to avoid doing so as 1) they will dismiss any defect as something the customer has caused, 2) will not accept any responsibility, 3) will not come out and inspect the bath, 4) they provide a 25 year guarantee that is worthless, 5) they keep quoting their quality assured manufacturing process and appear to believe that every bath they produce is defect free when clearly they have a manufacturing problem. Needless to say I will not be buying anything from this company again.

"Appalling Customer service!!"
Appalling Customer service!!
Bought two radiators from Eastbrook through a third party that arrived direct from Eastbrook last week.
In error, I had ordered one slightly too small. It remained unpackaged and in perfect condition.
I notified the company and purchased the larger radiator immediately as I didn't want to delay delivery.
The third party company contacted Eastbrook and requested that they may collect the smaller radiator whilst they delivered my new one - for a small carriage charge if they deemed so.. I think this was quite reasonable especially as I was already paying £35 for them to deliver the new one.
But oh no - Eastbrook want an extra 20% 'restocking fee'??? That's nearly £100 mind. To put it on a van from a location they have been paid to drive too and to take it back to a location that they are GOING BACK TOO..... It's technically an EXCHANGE not a refund. And I had bought another radiator from them for heavens sake!
After speaking to the 3rd party company who have been so keen to help I called Eastbrook myself, clearly thinking that common sense and good customer service would clearly prevail in this situation. Clearly not. Curt, rude and downright unwilling to manoeuvre 'policy' and help out a good customer.
I am so annoyed and disappointed at the same time. I think anyone renovating a property knows how expensive it all is. These radiators are not cheap - to be charged a further £95 'profit' when all I have done is made a simple error I think is disgraceful.
They will never get my business again. Through a third party or otherwise.

"Awful"
Awful! The rollers are poor despite the elevated price of the shower enclosure . Customer 'service' is a contradiction in terms. Steer clear.

"What a shower!"
What a shower - beware! We've just spent an entire year as retail customer attempting to get Eastbrook to resolve a leaking shower screen. The retailer we bought through asked us to deal direct after they failed to get the problem resolved. After many photographs and descriptions of the problem (large puddle on the bathroom floor after every shower), we were sent a replacement. The fitter took one look and said it was pointless installing the replacement as the deflector over the hinge was bent out of shape. Eastbrook told me that it was because the shower head was too close to the screen, or the pressure was too great we shouldn't expect any more of a shower screen than we would of a shower curtain! When I pointed out that we had another shower in the house that functioned perfectly with a hinged door the account manager eventually stepped in to offer a refund. We've replaced the screen with another from another supplier and have a 100% dry floor now - finally.

"Stay well clear of Eastbrook's OSLO…"
Stay well clear of Eastbrook's OSLO base units. If you intend obtaining an OSLO base unit direct from another source, I suggest avoiding the product completely. The sides of these are generally not fit for purpose as the core material is unstable and despite needing the careful application of sealant, nevertheless reacts by expanding and warping even before use!
There are many complaints on-line regarding Eastbrook's customer service but I my case they did at least in the first place replace the unit but the same thing happened again in exactly the same way despite my contractor conforming to the manufacturer's instructions as before. Eastbrook now appear to be conveniently distancing themselves from any responsibility.

"Avoid Eastbrook Oslo unit - damaged in 2 days…"
Eastbrook Oslo unit damaged in 2 days of use.
Evidences with image and videos sent to Eastbrook via the supplier about leak damage on the vanity unit. They took over 2 months to provide a replacement piece of wood with no instructions on how it can be fixed to the actual unit and this piece was damaged as well. We have notified them but they haven't responded. These Oslo range of products which are relatively very expensive and for the pathetic service from Eastbrook and suppliers, this is not worth it. The one we had was a 1000mm one and within two days of fixing them, we were shocked to see there is water leak damage on the wooden vanity unit. One would expect these to be waterproof and also don't expect these to damage in 2 days of use. They also provided incorrect type & size of the overflow pipe which is trivial compared to the main damage.

"Bent and dented Burford aluminium radiator"
Purchased a Burford aluminium radiator. Upon inspection the top rail was bent, the end panel had a dent and the top rail also had a manufacturing defect in it.
My supplier is getting a replacement, given the reviews here, I am now concerned about the quality of these products.

"I have recently had 2 new bathrooms…"
I have recently had 2 new bathrooms fitted both with Dura toilets and soft close seats but the seats are not a colour match for the toilets and cisterns. I was told this was because they are different materials as though I didn't realise that! The seat is brilliant white and the sanitary ware looks grey/white so the overall effect is appalling. I am still waiting for a satisfactory response before going to court

"Carron bath has CRACKS"
Carron bath was purchased through eastbrook trade. The bath has been installed for a matter of weeks and has cracks. East brook trade accused the client for having caused the cracks.
