DO NOT USE THIS! I had the same problem as others in Tenerife. They did not have any reservation. I was lucky, they had a free bed. I lost 5 euros. It is a fake institution:(
It is my fault, be more careful than I had been.

Bin leider darauf reingefallen. Die Seite sieht professionell aus. Man überweist 10 Prozent Anzahlung per Kreditkarte. Wenn man dann im Hostel ankommt, haben die aber keine Reservierung und kennen den Anbieter auch gar nicht. Vor ein paar Jahren hatte ich im letzten Moment noch eine Eingebung, hab die Bewertungsportale eingesehen und die Buchung abgebrochen. Dieses Mal hatte ich das leider wieder vergessen und war in Hektik. Sind bei mir zwar nur 20 €, aber ist halt auch Geld. Und in der Summe werden die ganz gut verdienen mit ihrem Modell. Zudem musste ich abends im überfüllten Berlin eine Alternative für die Nacht finden und mit meiner Bank kommunizieren, und die Kreditkarte sperren zu lassen. Ich überlege, die nächsten Tage mal Anzeige zu erstatten.

I admit that I should have made more research on this site before making a booking. My experience was very similar to many others here. When I got to my hostel in Paris, the hostel did not find a booking. I showed them the booking confirmation email I had received, but it was of no help. The worst part was that I arrived in the evening and the hostel was full, so I found myself wandering around Paris at night looking for a place to sleep.
Do not use this site, or you will face the same faith as I did.

Sold room in a hostel in Budapest. Got there. No reservation. Never heard of the organisation.
Called the telephone number on the website and it picks up but nothing there.

Scam website. They take your booking fee and create a false booking. When I arrived at my destination they had no record of my booking and dont even work with this 'hostels club'. DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE. I didn't even care for the $4.50, but the stress of arriving at 22:00 in Naples and not having a booking or bed to sleep in was horrible. This website should be torn down. DONT USE.

I have a booking today at the hostel in the confirmation email that I've forwarded below. I arrived at the hostel two hours ago expecting to be able to check-in, only for the manager to tell me that Hostelsclub had cancelled my reservation. I received NO email or notification that they were cancelling my booking and now I was suddenly in a foreign country without a place to stay at night for the next week and without internet to try to figure something out.

As someone who wrestles with mental health and neurodivergence, this type of situation can be debilitating, sending me straight into panic-mode and hyperventilation. I tried calling the number on the website and it didn't go through. This is absolutely appalling, how is anyone supposed to trust this service if basic communication isn't maintained?

The manager at the hostel said that the reason for the cancellation was an issue with my card HOWEVER, the payment for reserving the booking went through so I'm confused how there could be an issue with my card, the same card that I'd used every day since making the booking, the same card that hostelclub were able to take money out of, suddenly has an issue with it.

This is ridiculous service and I demanded a refund and compensation for the cost of the booking as the bare minimum, because I've now had to book something where prices have gone up because I'm booking on the day at the hotel in an expensive city as a university student living on a budget. I checked my spam - nothing, no email.

I have done my best to help you in this situation. I am trying to help you as much as I can, I have offered to refund your money because it is obviously not your fault, and we are not going to charge you money for a service that we have not given you as we should have. And we have a very strict policy on refunds.
The hotel made a series of mistakes, which has led us to this situation. I cannot take responsibility for a mistake we did not make.

I have been scammed too, do not book from this website, they confirmed the reservation and when I arrived to the hostel they did not have any reservation under my name. Of course they charged me the fee, I have been trying to contact them and never replied to me. AVOID THIS WEBSITE

"Booked hostel gatto d Oro hostel via…"

Booked hostel gatto d Oro hostel via hostelsclub and I had to pay 40 USD for the reservation.

After a couple of days they said they would change me to wow hostel because it is from the same owner and gatto d Oro hostel is closed duo to covid.

I asked for a refund and they didn't do it.

These guys are scammers. Don't get into this hostel and don't use hostelsclub

"No devuelven el dinero de la cancelación por motivos ajenos"

Hace una semana reservé con dicha cadena y cuál fue mi sorpresa que al ir a cancelar la reserva ( te cobran el 10%) no te devuelven el dinero a tu cuenta sino que te lo meten en una tarjeta suya para que lo gastes cuando quieras ..... y si yo quiero mi dinero? Nada así ya tienen beneficio y asegurado dicho gasto , buena forma de facturar por poco que sea ,la devolución echa por motivos mayores .NO RECOMIENDO CONTRATAR CON DICHA PÁGINA

"Estafa en la Reserva"

Cuál ha sido mi sorpresa que a llegar al alojamiento me dicen que está lleno teniendo mi reserva en el. Me manda a otro establecimiento del mismo dueño a más distancia del centro de Roma en cuya habitación las puertas del armario está cogida con cuerdas e igual que el cabezal de la cama, pienso que en países del 3 mundo hay habitaciones mejores que en Roma ( U.E. ). Me siento vengañado y estafado por Hotelsclub , lo único que se preocupan es de cobrarte el alojamiento.
NO ACONSEJO RESERVAR CON ÉSTA WEB
