"The guys came out quickly to measure…"

The guys came out quickly to measure made deposit payment £1750 this was on 15th march. I kept phoning but told not ready, then told fitter on holiday than I’ll. my husband then rang months later they sent me a text for further payment £440. Sent me a CV message will be out on 13th September to fit again they didn’t turn up no contact. Now stating on website they deal with on traders. I’ve reported to police due to possible scam and now going through bank as I luckily paid by credit card. My only regret should have read reviews first. £2200 of my money. I’m a mental health nurse as you all know nhs doesn’t pay the greatest. Shame on you guys.

"This company has treated us with utter…"

This company has treated us with utter contempt for 10 months regarding replacing slats in shutter we purchased with them .They have repeatedly blamed their supplier for the delay only update is when i phone them we are at a point now where we are taking them to court to settle this ongoing issue what a totally disrespectful to treat customers they are the ones in the wrong but they are trying to get out of replacing the damage to the shutter we are OAP,s and really could do without the stress .

"Started so well..............."

19.Feb: Paid in Full for Shutters, told it would be 6 weeks for fitting
05.Apr: I requested an update on my order. Was told that it was in fact a 10 week turnaround for shutters and I was looking at fitting week commencing 29 April.
30.Apr: I chased again as still no contact etc.
03.May: I chased again as still no contact etc.
04.May: Finally received a response stating that 'the social media person' was off on the 03.May and that they were closed until 07.May because of the Bank Holiday.
07.May: Received an apology for the delay in replying to me (blamed annual leave) advising that they have chased my order with their supplier and they have informed them its part made, they were having issues in receiving raw stock with that has been happening abroad, they have informed them that they will receive my order in 2-3 weeks. James also advised that the supplier have however offered a deduction of £250.00 for the inconvenience caused which they will of course reimburse myself with. Promised to keep in close contact with our supplier and as soon as they knew a date they’re being dispatched they will call me to book a fitting date in.
30.May: I chased for an update. They responded to say that the Planning Team would be in touch with me today for a fitting date. I then received a text at 16:00 telling me that the appointment had been booked for 17.June - no actual discussion or asking if it was convenient! I messaged them back advising them of this 'appointment' and requesting when I would receive my compensation? I received a response at 20:47 stating "All our fitting appointments are sent out via text message due to the sheer amount we have. If any appointments are not suitable you can simply let us know where we will try our best to accommodate your requirements. Any discounts that have been issued against an order will be refunded on completion of the installation." Or put another way, we do what we want when we want regardless of you paying in full and us not honouring our commitments!!
17.Jun: The installer turned up and the first thing he had to do was apologise that he did not have the door shutters with him as they arrived damaged and would need to be re-ordered (I also received a voicemail from the office to advise this)! He went about his work and left.
18:Jun: While I was outside my property, I noticed that the one shutter had a significant 'hole' in the frame and that the mitred corners had varying levels of gaps in-between them! So, I let TPB know, and they duly apologised stating that they would arrange for a replacement one to be made and this will be sent out when the shutter installer comes with my Perfect fit Shutters for the doors, any issues such as the corner joints will also be rectified the same time.
26.Jun: I chased for an update to be advised that the replacement door shutter is arriving Monday 8th July, as soon as they have received it, they will arrange with me a suitable fitting date to complete all outstanding shutters and rectify any issues at the same time.
10.Jul: I chased for an update. I was advised that they were pleased to say they now have my replacement shutter panel door, and my order is back with the planning team to be arranged for fitting of the remaining shutters, they believe the shutter installer is on annual leave this week and next week, and they were looking to fit them on Friday 26th July but they will confirm this via text with a timeslot. I duly thanked them for their reply and commented that I would hope that my installation is prioritised due to the considerable time I have already been waiting; and furthermore – the compensation should also be commensurate.
18.Jul: Shutters were completed due there being a cancellation and brought my appointment in earlier. I reached out to TPB asking now that the installation had been completed when would I be receiving my compensation and the value of it.
19.Jul: Response from TPB "I have just received confirmation from our accounts team that they will be issuing a £200.00 refund back to you for the inconvenience caused". I responded enquiring whether this £200 was in addition to the £250 that the manufacturer had already given them for me? The reply was "Accounts has you down for a £200 refund not £250.00 but as I can see James has told you £250.00 so that would be honoured and the £250.00 would be the amount refunded to you. I duly responded stating that it was very disappointing however that Trade Price Blinds and Shutters are not contributing to the compensation for the significant delays, inconvenience, and multiple appointments I had to endure. I also provided my bank details for the compensation to be paid in to.
27.Jul: I am still waiting for the money to be sent to me and my attempts to contact them have been duly ignored!!

My advice to you all reading this - Find another Supplier!!

We paid a deposit of £250 in July we are still waiting on the blinds to be fitted, we paid a remaining balance of £250 in November and were told the blinds would be fitted in a week, still no date or phone call. This company do not answer there phone or any messages

"Fabulous selection and great quality"

Fabulous selection and great quality. You’re told right from the start it’s about 6 weeks from measuring to installing and this was about right for me. Only gripe is how difficult it was to get someone to answer their phone! They need more staff in the office.

"Far too long a wait."

We needed 2 blinds and was told it would be 6 weeks, which seemed a long time but we didn't know any different. We waited and on the 6th week we still hadn't heard anything so we contacted them for a date. We were told there had been a problem with suppliers and we might have to wait a further 3 weeks, at least. We weren't prepared to do that and have now gone with a different company who told us they order the blinds to be made and they arrive the next day!

"Please read before ordering!"

Happy with my shutters and the way Chris fitted them. Thank You Chris!

BUT PLEASE READ BEFORE ORDERING...

I Placed an order for shutters on the 18th of April where I gave an 80% deposit (Over £1000). I know this seems quite a lot but as they are made to measure, I was willing to secure the order. The fitter came out and remeasured on the 21st of April for final checks for the shutters to be made. The companies'Facebook page advertises their lead time to be 6 weeks. After 6 weeks went by, I contacted Trade Price to see if they could give me a date for fitting and was told by Natalie, who works in the office another 1/2 weeks, as they were experiencing delays with materials. I rang again after another 2 weeks to be told another 1/2 weeks wait. A month after the first initial six weeks, I called again to see what was going on with my order and was told another 1/2 weeks as the materials are on their way to the factory to be made. Feeling a little suspicious, I wrote on their advertisement post on Facebook asking if anybody had experienced the same problem. A few people commented back and privately messaged me to say they were in the same situation. Some of which had paid in full or an 80% deposit like myself. The comments were then deleted from Facebook by their admin and then I was blocked from their page. During my wait for the shutters not once was I contacted by the company apologising for the delay or updating me on the situation that was happening at their end. I felt as though I was a nuisance contacting them and felt really fobbed off by their rubbish excuses. I managed to get through to them on another social media platform where I was offered a refund. ( Even though the day before over the phone I was told that was not possible because they were already made.) Seems as though I touched a nerve by hounding their Facebook and Instagram page. I really just wanted to have my shutters fitted! Customer service is non-existent and a particular office staff member is rude and insensitive! Fast forward to the 10th of August and the day came to finally fit my shutters and I was given a time slot between 9/9.30 and 9.30 came and no sign of the fitter. I called the office to ask if someone was still coming and was told the vans were having trackers fitted and that they would be late. (No problem but maybe a phone call to say they were going to be a bit late.) When Chris arrived he did a fabulous job of fitting my shutters and I'm very pleased with the way they look and operate. Customer service has really let this company down! Would I order again? NO! Definitely not.

"Customer service is absolutely diabolical …"

Customer service is absolutely diabolical! Ordered in May and had to wait till August to have them fitted when I was guaranteed 6 weeks fitting like they advertise everywhere. No communication what so ever from the company! Constantly chasing week in week out to be told different things by the office staff and so call manager Natalie, who was just as awful as the office staff but worse. Every one of the staff in the office will tell you a different thing. The only good thing is the shutters do look lovely now I have finally had them & I would highly recommend only Chris from this company! Chris who come out to survey & fit the shutters was so lovely & professional. I personally think he’s to good and lovely to be in a company like yourselves that think it’s acceptable to run a business this terrible way! Sam who come out to quote I found him very pushy also! Will not recommend!

"Very bad experience with this company…"

Very bad experience with this company ordered Venetian blinds early February, son of the company came measured up, when they came 10 weeks later 4 out of 6 windows measured incorrectly, took another three weeks to replace their error, customer service is diabolical, I had to phone and email them on numerous occasions for an update. Utterly frustrating and not only that they want the money upfront, so if things do go wrong your stuffed, my advice is to STAY WELL CLEAR
