She listened to my concerns, gave me reassurance that some of the things I had experienced were not unusual and helped me understand my options for coming off the pill after 15 years. Their website has helped me massively with educating myself so that I actually know what I want to ask my GP! (as feel like unfortunately GPs can be quite misleading sometimes)
Their seminars are brilliant! The information I have gained about HPV has been way more than I ever got from the hospital and they really are trying to get rid of the stigmas and the taboo about lots of feminine issues!
Honestly cannot recommend enough! The information they provide is empowering and helps us take charge of our contraception rather than just being led blindly into the dark assuming our side effects are just part of being a woman- which they're not - we can ask for change!

Although contraception being prescribed from my GP is free, I have a nightmare getting my pill. They give me 3 months worth each time and every 3 months I have a nightmare trying to get another prescription because they make you talk to a doctor every time and never have any appointments. I ordered a years worth from thelowdown and it arrive within 2 days and now I don’t have to worry about it for another year. So happy I found this place and the customer service was amazing, very responsive and supportive through WhatsApp. Definitely I new regular place to get contraception from.

Dr Fran was fantastic. Knowledgeable and passionate, she addressed all my (many!) questions as well as my boyfriend's. Though we were well over the 20 minutes slot she kept checking how I was feeling and what concerns I had based on the information received. I felt listened to and understood and despite contraception remains a complex issue I am now in a better position to take an informed decision thanks of her competent and empathic advice.
