"I have given 3 stars as the salesman…"

I have given 3 stars as the salesman was excellent! And the rest is at least in part, my fault! So this is just to help others not to make my silly mistake.

Having been told all about the car by the salesman; service history, etc. I also ran a TotalCarCheck ensure it was a safe purchase, it was. I had already seen photos on the ad and was then emailed a video by FindMy.Car where both the bodywork and interior looked clean. On this basis I put a deposit on it and traveled 2 hours to purchase and drive home.

Here comes the issue. On inspection of the vehicle when I arrived I noticed a line of paint chips all down the driver's side which looked like they had been botch fixed with a £10 touch up pen! I asked the salesmen about them and he seemed to agree but that was all, at which point I panicked to be honest! If the car had been local to me I would have asked that they were fixed or at least that the £350 it's going to cost me to have them fixed properly was knocked off the price and if neither of these were agreed I would have walked away but I was 2 hours away from home, a trip I'd made on the basis that the exterior and interior were clean and I felt a bit stuck. So I paid the asking price and left with the car.

The point is these paint chips were not highlighted to me via the video or photos. I looked at the video again when I got home to make sure I hadn't missed it and it was taken too far away to see them, even when I zoomed in (as were the photos). I don't think this was intentional and really, if I had a problem on personal inspection I shouldn't have bought! Panicked due to distance as I say, that's my fault. Just please FindMy.Car, if someone is coming from a distance to basically 'click and collect' tell them about things like this before they make the trip. And if you are the person doing the buying, make sure you ask about things like this if the information is not volunteered.

Other than that I want to say the car is great! And again, the salesman was so helpful including out-of-hours comms and had even bought me new mats when I got there. I don't think he’d even seen the paints chips but someone must have, the alloys had been repainted, how can you notice that in the workshop and not the bodywork... I would have been over the moon if it wasn’t for the above. Such a shame.

Cannot fault find my car & Mat, I sort of had an idea what I wanted but Mat found me a car that I didn’t even know existed! It ticked all my boxes and the service was ridiculously good, contacted them the Wednesday and by the Friday after, they had dropped the car off for me at work with a lovely bunch of flowers too! I felt no stress and didn’t have to look through endless websites looking for a car, they did it all! Thank you so much!

I messaged findmy car not knowing if they would be able to help me, Mat listened to what I was wanting and how quickly things needed to be done, as I left it very last min! He got straight on with getting valuations for my car and telling me that they could part ex it for me or how I could sell it, he listened to every detail about what I was needing for my new car, and got straight on with the search in the price bracket I had given him. After around 2 weeks Mat had found me the perfect car and was then dealing with everything for me that needed doing, I then had to pass Mat on to deal with my mum as I was in hospital at the time of everything coming to an end and making the car swap. So thank you for doing that Mat! He told me everything I needed to do with me and talked me through it as I had no clue, he made the whole thing so easy for me!! I could not recommend these guys enough!! I will 10000% be a return customer

I asked Chris to find me a new car I wanted to part exchange my Audi A1 for a bigger more practical car. I gave Chris a few options of cars what I would be happy with. He came back with plenty of options to what I wanted even cars what I didn’t think I liked.
