Poor after sales service. Problem after problem. To top it off, took in for repair again. Full tank of fuel when left it, collected 8 days later with 60 miles left in it!!

"Disappointed experience "
Me and my partner was in the market for a caravan for a while and decided we wanted a tourer. Our budget was about 5k.
We went to the other side of Cardiff to have a look at one for 5k to which we both did not like.
So I said let's go to Newport caravans to have a look. We were looking round and my partner was liking a caravan for 16k. I was hesitant as it was out of our budget.
But the previous owner was there taking his new caravan back which he part ex it in for. Which he said he was having problems with. But he was telling us how great and sorry he part ex it in for as he had nothing but problems with. He had his old caravan since new and had no real issues with. Trevor then told us he paid £600 for a cover that would not fit the new caravan. So he told us that Newport caravans had it in on the old one he part ex it in. So Ryan promised us it was in on the deal to which really sold it to us.
On the day we picked it up it was not in the van so Ryan told us to ring him and he will sort out no problem. Just give him a few days to get it as he will locate it for us.
I rang a few times and he was not available or not in. I did speak to Ryan twice and he was a different person to when I bought the van for 16k. I never got the cover and never did he return my calls. Totally gutted if I'm honest. Thanks Newport caravans

"Poor and delayed services."
Booked my motorhome in for some repairs and a service and arranged to collect two weeks later. When I called to arrange collection, they said repairs were not undertaken and it would take another 3 weeks to do the work, which they said was about 2 hrs work. Last year it was about the same. It's Easter on Friday and we had planned to go away. What very poor service. I would go elsewhere if you can. And they need chasing to even tell you what is happening.

Purchased a new Coachman 660 GTS from Newport Caravans. Great service from first contact, great PX offer and caravan hand over was excellent. Even though this dealer is 150 miles away from us we will use them for servicing and will purchase from them again.

"Excellent Customer Service"
I had booked in my caravan to have a Maxview Roam fitted. Owen and his colleague were really professional and laid back making me feel at ease. They explained exactly what they were going to do with the install. Once finished I had a call from Owen to say it was all done. The guys even hitched my caravan for me so that I could just pull out. Great service, great customer journey. Will definitely use Newport Caravans again. Many thanks.

"Do not use unless you have bought your caravan off them"
Rang the service dept regarding an issue with a Lunar whose first question was “did you buy the caravan from us?”. Answer = no, then they were totally disinterested in my problem. Said they would get back to me with a price but didn’t take any details whatsoever?, so I guessed they wouldn’t reply. Sure enough, no price was forthcoming despite chasers, so I took my £2k business elsewhere and now I won’t buy a caravan from them on the basis of their customer service. (As it happens I am looking to change my van next season for a new one). Newport Caravan’s loss, not mine. Get a grip and shake up your service dept before it’s too late.

"First class service"
We recently collected our van after extensive repairs to the wheel arch and caravan wall. The van was presented in excellent condition with no visable signs of any work having been undertaken.
Body shop staff very knowledgeable and obliging. They made sure we were completely happy with everything and also advised that any problems we were to contact them.
This was not necessary as excellent repairs had been carried out.
