"Shocking customer service!! AVOID"

I’d spent quite a lot of money with htune over the years until I brought an item that was faulty and didn’t work I contacted them regarding the issue, they asked me to get videos of the problem which I did, then asked how it was installed, but the installation was done to the exact spec as the instructions, then to be told company policy that they won’t exchange? They said that the sensor is extremely delicate an can damage easily, knowing this, when they sent it the packaging would not suggest that, as was only in a packet and no indication to say the goods are “fragile”. They couldn’t grasp the fact the item didn’t work out the box, so now I’m £200 out of pocket!! They did offer me a replacement but only at my cost!
Would never buy anything from them again

"Wheel nuts"

I was after a set of wheel nuts for my ep3 type r. I fould a set by mishimoto, the description said they would compliment standard as well as aftermarket wheels. I spoke to Dom on they're chat function to make sure I had the right ones before ordering.

When they arrived I found they didn't fit my standard wheels so I spoke to Pete to organise a return, he then gave me some BS about them being a special order so I cant get a return dispite H tune advice when choosing the item.

I'm now having to go to PayPal to try to get my money back. I should advise you avoid using these people.

"Terrible"

Ordered part in may, kept getting put back over and over due go supplier,its now july so cancelled my order, refund was given instantly! which was great, funny thing is I decided to go directly to there supplier and ordered through them, it will be here tomorrow had 12 in stock very odd if you ask me....

"My experience with H-tunes"

Like other guys here i placed an order before reading any review. I ordered an invidia exhaust for my FX infiniti from Holland(about 1200euro). I placed an order on 26/12/2018. It stated "dispatched within 4-7day", so i thought it would arrive in Holland after a week, later i noticed "available from supplier" and it meant first the had to receive it from supplier. After 2 weeks of waiting I emailed them; my exhaust was stuck at customs. After that I mailed them once a week. After total of 4 weeks my exhaust arrived, unfortunately with small/minor damage on one of the pipes. The guys from H-tune sent me pictures of it and upon asking more and detailed pictures were sent. I accepted the exhaust and they compensated me with 10% of the price. I received the exhaust at home, checked it again and everything was as they stated. I have yet to install the exhaust( its winter).

So I'm actually happy with H-tunes. The first weeks were difficult because there wasn't any news but all the time they were answering my mails and were helpful. Their description of damage to exhaust was accurate. I just wanted to share my experience, "to buy or not to buy" is up to you.

Spent over 1k on an exhaust that eventually arrived after more than 3 months.
When the Exhaust arrived it was the wrong one that i had ordered and it was damaged
Wish I had looked at their genuine reviews as clearly they have a very bad reputation which in my experience with them is deserved.
They never answer calls and amend there delivery date weekly.

So I ordered a set of k24 supertech piston set, first of all on the website it only showed them in 88mm with no drop down box to slect size. Also it clear shown x4 piston,x4 piston ring set and x4 locks +pins. So before I ordered them I put in comment box I wanted 87.5mm and ordered them, I then got a delivery date of 7-9 days. I then tried to call them on the number provided to confirm I was getting 87.5 mm pistons and found them impossible to contact via phone after several days and numerous times thoughout the day. I then emailed them and finally made contact only to find out my goods wouldn't come till mid September and the pistons didn't come with rings and had to order separate for a extra £88 and after spending £549 already I wasnt happy. Once ordering them I ask for confirmation that pistons were 87.5mm I got told I would recieve an email as he would need to check, the next day I received the email saying no they are 88mm so I said I wanted 87.5mm I then got told that this couldnt happen as they had been ordered special from the u.s. and that 88mm were a special size even though these are the only size supetech pistons the display on the site. I then get told that NO REFUNDS OR RETURNS ON SPECIAL ITEMS OR IMPORTED ITEMS. Now correct me if im wrong but htunes logo says speicalists in Japanese and import parts for the European market , so wouldn't probably 90% of there parts sold be import from either japan or u.s. This is legal robbery I say again avoid like the plague or end up £600 out of pocket like me.

"Bad experience not to be repeated."

Getting concerned now, I ordered a set of coilovers on the 26th Nov. with an indicated delivery on their website of 5-7 days if I remember correctly. A later update suggested the 12th Dec. which was then amended to the 13thDec. No problem for me at that time but when this was amended yet again the new date was given as the 8th Jan. This won’t happen either apparently, I emailed them this morning and now they are saying the 23rd Jan.
I tried to cancel my order back in December but they would not agree to do so, They said the Ohlin’s were on order from Japan? and that they had paid the suppliers at the time of order. They certainly took my payment with order! Apparently the Ohlin R&T coilovers are an exotic item for the Honda S2000 and not something that just put on to stock in order to give me a refund.
I can’t quite understand why they would advertise goods as being available in 5-7 days knowing that they had to source them from Japan.
As of today (7th Jan) their website is not available nor are they contactable by phone.Are they still trading? I don’t know. I do now know that they ceased trading as H-Tune around June last year carried on from there as Motorspec. This is looking like one for PayPal.

Terrible company, hide behind there suppliers all the time and don't deal with the issues themselves, I am 6 weeks down the line from ordering from them and still don't have the correct parts or a refund for the incorrect parts they supplied me and I have paid for. Cant get hold of them on the phone (seems consistent with what everyone says about them). Awful operation an absolute shambles, how these guys are allowed to still trade is beyond me. STEER WELL CLEAR

i got very fast reply's from the company and the dispatching went fast also. after 2 days i received items in belgium.

I have used h tune a couple of times for parts and every time the parts have taken over 2 mounts to be posted even after I e mailed asking for up dates on dispatch time they keep changing them it's not acceptable and very bad customer service will not be useing them again
