Used them a handful of times now. Swift, friendly service and really fair price I thought.

We needed to replace our very old boiler in a 1930's build. The team at C Anderson & Sons installed a new boiler and thermostatic valves on all radiators. The installation is faultless and the guys are super friendly. The whole process only took a couple of days, the guys were super efficient, clean and the British Gas Home Care inspector was very complimentary of the work.

We plan on further renovation of the property in the near future. Will will 100% be using C Anderson and the team again.

Highly recommend!!

2 months later and the company are still refusing to refund my deposit and are not responding to my emails. This company are basically thieves - don't use them!!


Do not use this company under circumstances! They took a deposit of £50.00 for a job they did not even turn up for after I had waited from 2.00pm to 6.00pm. When I asked for my deposit to be refunded immediately they said it would take 4 weeks to refund my deposit to my card! Total RIP OFF company! Avoid using them at all costs!!

Care NOT for customer relations, communication or fairness.

Used them on consecutive days. Charged for 3hours day one to diagnose problem then told needed 2-3 more hours following day to fix.Plumber started charging from before agreed time of arrival then despite all preparatory work having been done the day before with explicit request to have everytning available on their van for the job he then inexplixably disappeared for an hour [chargeable] to get something. He telephoned to say he completed works and agreed done under 3hours. Money then taken out of account for 4 hours work within hours!! No discussion NO agreement. Numerous telephone calls to company, bounced around by call handlers. One week later after numerous phone call one embarrassed call handler who understood the situation agreed to refund half an hours work but no reimbursement was made. Further phone calls, bounced around and Senior Managment never got back but when recontacted she was unsympathetic,dismissive, didnt listen .....
COULDN'T CARE LESS... should be their moto.

Bought a Groupon deal to get our boiler serviced.
Booked in the first time, took time off work to be home, no one turned up.
Booked in a second time. More time off work and still no one turned up.
Booked in a third time... You've guessed it.
Terrible excuse making on the customer service line. Don't put yourself through the stress of dealing with this terrible company.

Avoid this company at all costs! 1 star is generous. A disaster from start to finish... I say finish but there is no end in sight for completion of work.

It has taken (so far) 4 months to perform a task quoted to take 2 days. They don't provide updates to when work may be completed. They are good at chasing payment but don't return payments made ahead of the agreed payment schedule.

To add insult to injury, they caused some minor damage to the property and initially wanted to charge a fee to fix it!

I wouldn't want anyone else to have to experience this stressful and time consuming farce.

Amazing service from C.Anderson & son's. Within a week of being provided a quote we had a new boiler up and running with no hassle! All was very simple and easy and any issues or questions we had they sorted out right away with no hassle! The staff that we spoke to on the phone and that fitted our boiler were super friendly and knowledgeable nothing was too much for them.

AVOID - These people will rip you off, zero customer service, imagine the worst plumbing company to deal with and multiply by 1000.

WORST COMPANY EVER. They charged me 900 pounds to fix the boiler, and in the end left without fixing it and saying that I should just buy a new one. I feel like I've been scammed.

They installed the boiler OK, but did not carry out the Powerflush which was in the bill I paid.
3 years later there was a leak in the air valve caused by the build up of sludge.
They have refused to repay the £400 plus, and the matter is proceeding through the courts very very slowly.
