"Absolute sharks - avoid all properties at all costs"

Absolute sharks. They pulled an airbnb reservation from me within a few days of the booking date for the bewildering reason 'The property that we allowed you to book weeks ago, hold onto for weeks, pay the deposit and remaining fees is now suddenly unavailable until June'. Now nothing else is available within a 1hr taxi ride from they city where my company is attending a conference. I don't know how companies like this are allowed to operate on airbnb. It's just cruel

"Southampton lovely apartment with building site view. "

Booked beautiful apartment with sea view in Southampton, we got very nice apartment with building site view. Windows filthy, balcony door did not lock, and bedside light bulbs not working. My biggest complaint is that it took them 14 days to reply to my complaint and therefore I was just outside the time to review. By design I guess as no bad reviews on air bnb. After the 14 days they offered no compensation just an apology which is just not good enough. This is total misrepresentation and extremely poor customer service. I also received requests for payment that I had already paid. Seeing reviews on here I can see others have had similar experiences. Shame on Charles Hope. I can positively say it’s very dog friendly, clean and nice apartment. But NO SEA VIEW, parking not included as you may originally think it is, is in separate block with no working security gates.

"Dodgy and misleading company"

Dodgy and misleading company. The picture underneath the apartment description is not the actual apartment but the lobby entrance giving a very misleading impression of what you are getting. I booked this and rang them within 10 minutes once I noticed the misleading photo and they refused initially to refund saying it was a non refundable booking. They put me on hold for 10 minutes and cut me off once. Then they said they would call me back as all the managers are busy in a meeting. Bizzare no one is available. I have had to contact barclaycard to cancel the payment as they refused to.

Great Experience!
I've been staying with Charles hope for almost two years (working away with work) in their Reading apartments. It has been a very smooth and comfortable stay.
The apartments are beautifully decorated, high spec features and extremely clean, very comfortable mattress/bedding. Kitchens are equipped with everything you need and great WIFI!

Great customer service, really quick replies. felt like i was really looked after, nothing was to much trouble. extremely reliable.

Overall can't fault this experience! I would not hesitate to use Charles hope again for business and personal use!

Great place to stay. I was there for two nights. Didn't even have to put the heating on. Value for money.
Very clean and everything you need is there.

I stayed at the Leicester apartments with my daughter a few times now and it has been great each time!

We stay when travelling for gymnastics competitions and the apartment provides the perfect place to base ourselves while there.

The apartment was very clean and you can see that they are maintained well and looked after.

The booking process is always easy and if I have any questions the customer service team have been lovely and friendly and the 1 time I had a very minor issue - it was resolved quickly and efficiently.

I will continue to use Charles Hope apartments and regularly recommend to friends/family. When travelling I always check if they have a location nearby!

Booked into an executive apartment in Brentford for a short stay (birthday weekend). No issues with booking found the apartment clean and tidy and with facilities as expected for the price I was paying.
