"Work Trip Stayover"

Chose to stay here due to ease of travel to place of work, could not fault the accomodation (Clean & Tidy) or the team who could not do enough to help.

"Wrong description of the flat"

Wrong description of the flat. Very noisy. Impossible to open the dirty windows
No lighting in the kitchen.
One has to be a robot in order to have access to the flat
...
Now I have read other comments, How could charles hope still carry on renting flats on false pretention and get away with it. Simply scandalous

"NEVER rent Charles Hope Apartments"

NEVER RENT Charles Hope Apartments because their services are overpriced and their customer service is disappointing. Staff don't speak English fluently and are argumentative. If a customer feels unsatisfied with a service and requests for a refund, then a refund should be processed for that customer. A staff from Charles Hope Apartments (in Brentford), said that she would call me back to discuss my concerns about the Charles Hope Apartment that I rented, but she never did. Charles Hope Apartment staff are so dismissive and rude to customers. DON'T RENT CHARLES HOPE APARTMENTS.

"Awful company"

Awful company. Booked an apartment in Uxbridge for a friends birthday nearby. As soon as you book your bombarded with emails/WhatsApps threatening to cancel your booking if you dont validate your card, then if you don’t upload ID, then if you don’t pay £150 deposit. Final straw was the night before the event they contacted me to say we noticed you live within the local area so provide proof of the event that you were attending. A house party so I had no proof so they cancelled the booking the night before. I obviously complained but their rep continuously repeated that it’s clearly stated in their t and c’s. I’ve booked hundreds of places before I never read all of the small print and never had an issue. Definitely avoid this company and go with all of the stress free alternatives out there.

"False Advertising"

False Advertising. They claim that accommodation comes with parking but when asked about details here is their reply:

"Unfortunately we can not guarantee if a parking space will be available. Parking is subject to availability on the day . If do feel more comfortable booking somewhere else we will advise you to do so."

I found this a waste of time.

"The apartments are nice, yes – but it is not worth the stress. Avoid."

First of all, the apartment was nice. Minimalistic, but fresh, spacious, and full of light. The living experience itself was good. However, the Charles Hope management (and their customer service) is awful. The Copenhagen apartments have no staff, check-in service, or point of contact whatsoever. Guests are directed to small key boxes put up at various bicycle racks, which contain the apartment keys. Charles Hope is awfully bad at providing their guests with this information. I received mine one week prior to check in – however, I arrived at an empty key box. Charles Hope is not open about their customer service number (it is not given with check-in information), so first I had to spend a long time locating it. Once I found it, I was met with a “…all our lines are busy” message for over 20 minutes. And when I finally got a hold on someone, the person on the other line was very unhelpful and unresponsive. I only managed to get into my apartment thanks to other guests (who had not been given any check-in information at all, I might add). They were on the phone with someone else from Charles Hope, who was more responsive. Apparently, apartments had been switched around the last minute, but I had not been informed about this switch (which is why I could not access my key). I received no explanation for the last-minute switch, any apology for the mishap, or expression of concern from Charles Hope. As a hotel provider, Charles Hope is just awful. The apartments are nice, yes – but it is not worth the stress. Avoid.

Other minor issues I may add. Firstly, after day one, there were major issues with the Wi-Fi. It did not matter how many times I turned it off-and-on again, the issue remained, and I had no access to Wi-Fi (but my own phone data). Secondly, the TV was not connected to an antenna (or otherwise), so I only had access to streaming services (which I do not subscribe to). The exception was a news channel from Rakuten TV which was freely available.

"I have a booking for my wedding for 2…"

I have a booking for my wedding for 2 nights in 2 days time which they have just now cancelled due to my guest living within a 25 mile radius of the apartment. Despite the fact I also live within 25 mile radius (this doesn’t matter apparently) which makes no sense at all! I was staying at the apartment as am I am getting married and traditionally the groom doesn’t stay with the bride the night before the wedding and Charles hope have said it’s due to insurance reasons. Which absolutely makes no sense at all!! How unprofessional considering I’ve had this booking for over three weeks and only now a day before check in they decide to cancel! Leaving me with very little chance of rebooking elsewhere due to timescales! Appalling customer service I even had to chase them for a call back I was promised!
