Excellent service and price. I was changing my car, and the main dealer made me an offer. However, I spoke to Charlie Pickering, and after me giving an honest description of my car, he made me an excellent offer. Less than a week later the car was collected. The money was in my account before the driver left me. I will be recommending them to everybody.

Spot on! Valued the car online but offer increased after a conversation on the telehone with Charlie. Accepted the new offer, which was very competitive and way more than the '.con' fiasco where they draw you in with a good price and then try to haggle it all the way down during the appraisal and load it with admin fees and fees to get paid more promptly. All the paperwork was completed online and date arranged for collection. On the day of collection, Stuart arrived, had a look over the car, took some pictures of the documents, service book etc. He then spoke with the office, car was transferred with DVLA, money paid, very professional and one happy customer. Would recommend and use again.... very competitive valuation, good communication, excellent service, never once felt pressured and everybody I came in to contact with were brilliant. "Aggressive and unprofessional tone from Ian"

I dealt with Ian High on selling my car, the usual pressure techniques were being used with me to agree to sell my car to them. I wasn't fazed by this as I know they need to buy cars quick and cheap to make their commission target, but I took my time with the process. We had agreed on a price, which was below market value but I just wanted to sell it so I was happy to accept as hadn't had much luck with other sites. The appraiser (Craig from MVM, lovely man) came and sent back additional scratches and dents he'd found, the offer was not lowered. However, in the time that Craig had come, I received a much higher offer from someone else, which I showed to him to prove I wasn't trying to use it as a bargaining tactic. I told Ian on the phone that I was going to have to pull out of the sale because I had received a £2.3k higher offer. This is where my 3 star review comes, Ian got irritated by me pulling out of the sale, raised his voice, started a rant about how we had a gentleman's agreement, I've wasted their time because they've done all the paperwork and gone through the process and I'm now pulling out. I would have understood his frustration if he was a private buyer who needed a car, but you are a salesman for a business, unless this is going to make you miss commission this month, why are you taking it so personally? You can understand that I would naturally accept the higher offer even if it came at the end of the transfer window. There was no contract, no transfer of funds, it's just the way business goes sometimes. I said to him that I had accepted the possibility of a lower offer after the inspection of the vehicle so he should accept that I would potentially pull out of the sale. I said I'm not selling my car to you anyway so what more do you want to argue about? He said he doesn't want to argue but think 'it's a lack of disrespect' (he meant respect). He then added that they now have to pay the appraiser for their time and are not getting a car out of it..Again, you work for a company, the business can more than afford to pay the £200 for the appraiser's time, it's not coming out of your pocket. Anyway the point of this review is that the service and process was easy and simple, Ian's attitude in not getting the sale in the end was unprofessional and rude, especially when he's not having to pay out of his own pocket.
