Enence advertises that one can “have a real time conversation with anyone on this planet.” Well, although Africa is on planet the only African language on the app is Egyptian- not any of the major languages such as Hausa, Igbo, or Yoruba. The European developers should add the major African dialects to this device.

"I have been a customer for years 2021-2025"
I have been a customer for years. I remember being very excited to get my translator with extended warranty. Sadly, it never worked! I had established an audit trail of calls to customer service for assistance both before and after taking the translator into the field. Each time I relied on the professional sounding customer service rep assurance that the device would work. Again, it never worked. The device would signal no connection, check WiFi, etc or no response other than signal it was turned on. This is a device that you are typically not using daily so even with extended warranty you rely on professional customer service tech experience that it will work. Last March, 2025 was my last call in. It took over a week to get a supervisor call back at which time I am told it’s out of warranty nothing can be done. I was more than aware it was “out of warranty” I said it never worked look at call history. Basically, she was reading from a script vs applying customer service. To date, the only thing that worked was the charger.
The device sits on my desk as a paperweight and as a reminder to me as a CEO in dealing with situations that there is nothing that “Can’t be done” Can’t only translates to won’t!
With all said, and 2 colleagues that have translators that work, they convinced me to try it again and give the Enence product a second look. As a CEO I took their advice as they gave it heartfelt and not reading a script. I ordered this new improved device with purchase add ons and extended warranty with the hope that I can get the paper weight off my desk and this long review benefits all that read it as a business learning lesson for CEO to personnel; Company to customer relationships and product quality and reputation.
Once again, as when I first purchased the device, this time with benefit of doubt I am looking forward to receiving the new and improved device I just purchased and hope I too will share the positive experience enjoyed by my colleagues that they have with their devices and who talked me into buying another device.
I see below in blue “How to write a useful review” I am positive Enence CEO will understand, appreciate and find useful as a CEO this review from a customer CEO. I know I would for the good of the company and the main reason I took the valuable time to write this longer than intended review.
