"A cautious 99% from me"

Very courteous and helpful on a " what range of stuff do you do and what sort of guarantee, etc, can you give me on the telephone to encourage me to use you ? "... sort of conversation.
Their team was really helpful to me - I've been in retail and marketing all of my working life and the vibes I got were very positive ...
The DVDr I bought was delivered very well packed and in pretty good condition for pre-used ... There was a brand new remote and an enclosed booklet of user instructions I could barely lift ! , which were even more positive signs.
So far, I've got only good things to say about this company ... ( and I'm a fussy sort of a bloke when it comes to quality of service ..... )
I'm also fairly cautious about giving recommendations, but the service I've received here is about as good as I could have wished to receive, so I'll only give them a cautious 99% !!!!

The first unit arrived within 3-4 days, and when that one was found to be faulty a replacement was immediately sent with a return label for the faulty one.
The VCR player received works really well - excellent picture quality and only a few minor cosmetic marks to give away its age.
I can thoroughly recommend Electrovid.

Good and bad.
Start with the bad which was just that the machine I received was ancient.
It was dirty and was dented in two places. It lasted 1 week.
But....
I had bought the 1 year guarantee, and therefore you can buy from this company with confidence. I received a cash refund as I returned the goods as not fit for purpose within 1 week.
However, I feel confident that I would have had the machine repaired if the machine had failed later.
The chap who dealt with me was efficient and the refund was within promised timescales (as per their internet page).
I just wish they would reject even working VCRs that they receive to sell, if the machine is clearly a relic and in bad shape.

Excellent customer service and good value products.
I had an small unforeseen fault on the first video I received and Ryan at customer services could not have been more helpful. He quickly sent me a replacement out straight away with a returns label for first one. I still cannot believe I have a fully functioning VHS player, with remote control for this money.
I have seen reviews where people complain about the generic remote control and not being able to "set up" the player they have, but hey how can you tune in to non-existent, non-digital terrestrial channels when there are none ?
I think Ryan and the team are doing a great service, supplying these machines, keep up the good work ;o)

Trotz abgebrochener Bestellung (Fehler bei Kartenerfassung von World Pay) wurde der Rechnungsbetrag von der Karte abgebucht!
Seitdem erhalte ich keine Info von der Emailadresse hilfe(add)electrovid.co.uk hilfe(add)electrovid.co.uk. Die angebene Emailadresse info(add)elektrovid.de existiert nicht. Ich gehe von einer Betrugsmasche aus!

I bought a refurbished VHS/DVd player from Electrovid. I am delighted with it and the man who came to connect it for me (I'm not into electrics!) said it was a really ''great little machine.'' So I am more than happy to recommend Electrovid and the support I received from their staff was amazing.
