Garage door had a bit fall off. I rang a local company who quoted £99 call out fee, plus an estimated 1-2 hours labour at £50 per hour. Any parts required would be extra.
Decided to look online to see if I could find the correct part. Found it. Ordered it. Arrived in 4 days with a note saying let them know if there were any problems.
