"Lovely Airline, Lovely People"
Very efficient and polite (unlike their predecessor Flybe). It was nice to be treated as a valued customer from start to finish on both outward and return flights. Also very pleased that 15kg hold luggage was included in the price as well as 10kg cabin baggage!
Southampton airport is also a breath of fresh air - a very relaxed atmosphere. Security took less than 5 minutes. All in all a very good experience.

"Dodgy Landing Into Newquay"
Flew from Gatwick to Newquay in Nov 2022. Lovely aircraft, crew seemed polite I had none of the issues mentioned below luckily. But why the three stars then?
The landing, MY GOD it was the worst landing I think I’ve experienced. Hope We all survive the landing going back to London. On the way here was one of the worst I’ve experienced and then the pilot got lost on the runway and temporarily went the wrong way!! I mean, was it work experience day and he let his son fly the plane!
We literally went the wrong way after landing and has to swerve back to correct. Very unusual.
So in summary, great experience but slightly concerned about the pilots level of competency

An absolute disgraceful business.
Back in September, 3 of us arrived at Southampton airport to be told our flight to Dublin was cancelled without notice. Absolutely no alternative or help from staff.
€1800 later we eventually got to Dublin through Gatwick.
Eventually got through to Eastern a few days later and no help. Reached out to Opodo our booking agent to get a refund. They were great but Eastern would not refund us even through Opodo. Over 2 months on, still no refund from Eastern.
If minus star rating was available that’s what they would get.

Been waiting well over a month for compensation on a cancelled flight. Only to be told that i should had responded to an e-mail which looked like a statement. Ridiculous, avoid at all costs!

"Absolutely awful experience"
Absolutely awful experience. One flight cancelled, return flight timings changed. Still trying to get my out of pocket compensation from August despite sending everything required. Numerous calls, emails, feels like a deliberate delay in executing their statutory obligations. Told one date ( now passed) and now can’t be given a date for reimbursement. Unable to speak to management. It’s now November. Don’t care customers are out of pocket due to their actions. Have now had to contact Consumer Council to intervene.

The first flight out of Newquay (07:00) Was close to a 4 hour delay, no advance warning !!!!, just an "oh its about 1.5 hours delayed" at the check-in desk.
Caused me untold hassle and serious expenditure !
I will not be using this airline again, even as a last resort.

"Amazing customer service from Alice"
Amazing customer service from Alice. I booked a flight from Southampton to Manchester and managed to some how book the wrong return day. Despite my ticket being non-changeable and despite me contacting them outside of the 24 hour grace period, I called up and spoke to Alice in customer support and she changed my flight straight away - with no charge whatsoever! I was so impressed that I have gone out of my way to leave a review!

AVOID at all costs - i'd sooner walk...
Chaotic, disorganised - two flights cancelled - then barriers to refund put in way - Staff that do not treat you like a customer - never again.

"awful customer service"
Absolutely awful customer service and they do not care about the queen's passing all they care about is ther bottom line. Sorry my company decided to postpone its conference due to the passing. But not letting me change my flight is ridiculous. Don't use this company aer lingus and flybe are much more accommodating than this one and do all the same routes.

"Don’t bother. Awful company"
Please don’t waste your time with this company. Absolutely shocking. Hours of delays to then be told the flight is cancelled and everyone would have to get on a coach, not to mention there were extremely elderly and less abled people. No apology until I demanded one and no refund. Do yourself a favour and don’t waste your money or time with Easter airways. Never again.
