"Unethical Business Practices"
I wanted to engage with conservativeblinds.co.uk for the supply of blinds for my conservatory. Be a judge for yourselves. The salesman visited my home and gave me a quote for £11,800 which I agreed to. He then did some more calculating and said he had underestimated the price but would honour the price we had agreed on. I had three witnesses to this negotiation.
He returned to his head office and rang me later to say that the price was now £14,219, some £2419 more. I received an email from their director arbitrarily cancelling the order without discussion with me.
I now feel I had a lucky escape and It is my perception that conservativeblinds.co.uk is unethical and charlatans. In my opinion they are not a company who you should consider doing business with. Steer clear of this company, in my opinion they are not to be trusted.

"Perfect until later servicing was required"
I had blinds installed by this company a few years ago and have been very happy with them - the sales and fitting process were excellent and the blinds work perfectly. Unfortunately the after sales service has been abysmal - having tried to book a service appointment, the fitter has declined to return my calls or acknowledge my emails. A delay in coming out is entirely understandable; the inability to respond to the request is not.

Very impressed! Jon arrived promptly and was very friendly and efficient. He explained how he would fix the blinds to our garden room sliding doors and helped us choose the right colour. We only had to wait a few weeks for the blinds to arrive, they were actually fitted 4 days earlier than expected. Jon arrived and fitted them very quickly, without any fuss and then gave us a demonstration on operating them. Very happy with the quality and service. Thank you Jon! Wendy Crocker

Excellent service from Conservatory blinds ltd. Colin and Richard were friendly, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Colin took the time to establish what I was looking for and then worked through all the options with me, until we found just the right one. Richard then came out and took all the measurements before coming back to fit them a few weeks later.
Extremely please with the end result, which matches my original vision perfectly!

"Very disappointed by the lack of customer service"
I enquired about the blinds at the end of September 2020. After the initial visit the sale rep confirmed that we could have perfect fit blinds for our shaped windows. I paid the deposit and waited for the surveyor to visit and accurately measure each window. It was agreed on fitting the blinds to the recess of the windows. Several weeks after paying the deposit we received a call and we were told that the fabric was not available and they had to delay the installation, this call took place few days before the due installation date. We were also told that fitting the blinds on the actual window recess was no longer possible. A new installation date was agreed and another survey was booked. We then received another call to let us know that the new installation date was no longer an option. I asked for my deposit to be refunded and this was actioned. We then agreed to start the process again in the new year and here the troubles start again. A new surveyor was meant to schedule a visit, I was due to pay the deposit. The surveyor never made contact so I decided not to progress with the order. The company cannot confirm if the material to make my blinds is available but they still expect the deposit to be paid without giving any information or reassurance to the customer. I wasted almost 4 months. Incredibly unprofessional business.

"Quality, premium blinds that last"
Excellent company, including a caring and considerate pre-sales meeting with the adviser, highly professional installation of blinds and brilliant after-sales support. Although seemingly expensive to purchase, after nearly 5 years of use, we have not had any significant problems with the blinds, which continue to function perfectly, so you get what you pay for. A couple of small plastic clips that broke were replaced free of charge within days of contacting the company.
They are also quite easy to maintain and have not shown any signs of wear and tear to date.

Good initial service from sales person. Very impressed with fitter who measured up and fitted himself. The blinds are superb. The fitting is smart and tidy, also measured to the millimetre.

Just check that you get a chance to discuss your method of payment. The opportunity was not raised with us after the order was placed and full payment was demanded on completion.
