"Native DSD Sampler tracks review"

I downloaded the sampler DSD tracks in DSD256 resolution. The first track had sharp high frequency content, and almost no bass content.
The second track was very clear in the mid range but again I was disappointed to hear almost no content above ~2KHz.
The third track has a better spread of frequency content across the audio spectrum. The female vocals pop out on to the space between the speakers with excellent imaging.
Again, I was left longing for some deep bass.
The equipment setup is an Eversolo DMP-A8 streamer and DAC, XLR outputs to my Krell KSA-20OS with Martin Logan Ascent-i's for speakers, with MIT-2 bi-wire speaker cables and Nordost Blue Heaven XLR Interconnects from the DMP to the Krell.
I am yet to be blown away by the sampler.
