They were fantastic the whole way, everything from trip preparation meetings and gear nights, to the climb and safari afterwards. We were a group of 4 who summitted Mt Kilimanjaro in June 2024. The most amazing experience of my life. Mike gave us pre trip advice, answered any queries we had via email very fast! "Climbing Kilimanjaro"

Mike guided a group of over 20 of us up Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. His advice with diet, gear, fitness, visa's, vaccinations, etc in the build up was excellent and invaluable. On the hike we had altitude health issues present within the group which Mike managed efficiently and professionally resulting in perfect outcomes for everyone. His advice on the climb around nutrition, sleep, what gear to use, etc gave me a lot of confidence and made the whole experience much more enjoyable. Mike has great relationships with the in-market guides which also made a big difference. Mike's also got plenty of stories from his various adventures to keep everyone entertained while hiking.

"Amazing Kilimanjaro"

In July I summited Kilimanjaro with a team of 26 lead by Mike. This was an amazing experience that I recommend anyone who is able, put it on their bucket list. Mike did a great job of organizing and cajoling a big group of people and motivating us all to get “to the top”. Mike has great connections in Tanzania and has teamed up with an incredible team of people over there who go above and beyond.
When coming down the mountain didn’t go quite to plan and an evacuation was needed - Mike was amazing with coordinating the chopper and applying the right pressure to get help asap. I have heard stories since of people waiting for over 24 hours for assistance. My evacuation was arranged sorted and completed within an hour.
Even with the dramatic end to my Kili experience, the trip including Kili and a safari was one of the most amazing trips I have ever done. If you decide to do this and use High-adventures you will not be disappointed. Thanks for everything Mike.

He gave us bit by bit instruction over many months, from the training we had to do, the correct gear to purchase, immunisation to get done, flights. He made it simple, safe, authentic. High Adventure Tours organised our Kilimanjaro climb expertly with very handy and comprehensive emails detailing everything we needed to know, and well in advance too. Equally great was the creation of the email group where all on our climb could communicate with each other prior.
We were collected from the airport and housed in a lovely, tidy, and comfortable hotel before and after the climb, then returned to the airport at the completion of our adventure.
The climb itself was extremely well planned and staffed with exprienced english speaking guides and Porters.
