"Have used Golfkings for many years"

Have used Golfkings for many years, excellent customer service, very friendly and hassle free.
Each year more of our friends join us which says a lot.
Looking forward to our next break which we have already booked.

"Just returned back from a great trip to…"

Just returned back from a great trip to Portugal after repeated delays due to the pandemic. We dealt with Fraser Whyte, who was exceptional. Everything we asked for was done and so well organised. Will definitely use Fraser again for our next ladies trip abroad. Fraser and Golf Kings definitely deserve my 5* rating.

"The trip to the Masters was amazing"

The trip to the Masters was amazing. The trip was well organised and we had great support from Gordon Millar. The hotel was really well placed and the golf we played was exceptional. The experience of collecting the tickets was a little odd but we got there regardless.

"The booking process so far has been…"

The booking process so far has been amazing from Fraser, everything I have asked he has catered for and even helped out with group deposit for the group (as everyone knows it’s a nightmare trying to get money off a group of guys haha)

Slight issue has risen from a different course being booked but David Bates was on hand straight away and has helped get it changed and amended for us.

Couldn’t recommend these guys enough for getting a trip sorted to La Manga.

Thanks guys, we are looking forward to getting out there.

"Just returned from a week in Turkey"

Just returned from a week in Turkey. Stayed at The Kempinski Hotel with golf at The Sultan and Pasha. Despite being given a room overlooking the back of hotel (we were expecting a decent golf view having paid for this upgrade with Golfkings), we paid hotel an additional upgrade to a sea view and Golfkings have kindly refunded us the original upgrade amount. Hotel excellent on all fronts. The Sultan is a much better course but the condition of both was excellent despite the number of players each day! Communication and service with Golfkings both here and in Turkey was first class.

"La Finca in Spain..."

Very pleasant trip to the La Finca resort in Spain last week after repeated delays due to the pandemic - GolfKings support and perseverance in arranging this was commendable, first class in fact.
Golf and Hotel was perfect.

"We enjoyed the golf break having played…"

We enjoyed the golf break having played the course at Fuerteventura many times. We have previously stayed at the Sheraton Hotel, nice room but i must say the food let the place down, most certainly not five star. We booked bed and breakfast on this occasion so that we could eat out in local places, thank goodness we did. Both meals at the hotel on the nights we ate in had to be sent back. Local restaurants within about a 10 -12 minute walk were superb.

"Very poor in these unprecedented times"

Very poor in these unprecedented times. I’ve had to like many others cancel many trips over the last 18 months and all but this company have been very co operative and I have not had to forfeit a penny. Unfortunately golfkings with their greedy attitude are leaving me well out of pocket through no fault of my own and only offer me a way out by paying them more to line theirs!!!! I would strongly recommend everyone pick another company to book their good trip with. Sadly we only get to find out how good any company is by hitting a problem and seeing how well they sort it out … well sadly they failed bigtime with this trip and our golf society will definitely not be using them again.

"How not to treat an established client!"

Our tour group has used GolfKings every year for over 10 years and had built a mutually beneficial great relationship. Due to the possibility of Spain going onto the red list our party thought it too great a risk to travel and hence reluctantly asked GolfKings to cancel. Each of our party paid £470 deposit, which GolfKings confirm has been used to book the flights and nothing else. We were initially told by GolfKings that since the RyanAir flights are currently still operating we will forfeit the entire amount. We asked whether individuals could just take the flights, accepting a re-booking fee but according to GolfKings ‘flight only’would break the package deal, so was a no-go. After long negotiations, GolfKings finally agreed to allow us to rebook flights on an individual basis provided that we also booked accommodation with them! I guess since it would mean more money going to them they were hoping we would go for this! Subsequent requests to just use the flights without using GolfKings accommodation have been refused using the package t&cs to hide behind. When we asked how much has actually been paid to Ryanair, GolfKings will not clarify, hence our suspicion that they have paid Ryanair a good deal less than we have deposited. From Citizens Advice..” The company should only charge you the amount they’ll lose - they should try to sell the holiday to someone else. If you think they’re charging too much, ask how they worked out the cancellation fee.” We suspect they are benefiting from our cancellation and pocketing a good amount of our lost deposit. The worst thing for me is this lack of transparency from GolfKings along with no goodwill gesture, e.g. a voucher to use against a new booking in future. It’s as if they’re not bothered about keeping an established client happy, just about making some profit. Well they have lost a good client since we will not be using them again unless something changes, in which case I will update my review. Adiós GolfKings!
