"I did enjoyed trading with this company"

I initially posted a negativ review as I was scared that my withdrawal was still pending but I got all my funds back in my account 2 days later. So despite this incident, and the fact that they closed trades with UK in such short notice, I can say that I loved the platform, easy to use and understand even for me as a beginner. My financiar adviser Simon was always very helpful, and comunication was very good! Also support team was fast in replying and fixing any issues. I had not more then 3 weeks with this company but the time was really enjoyable.

"Account closed at a lossšŸ™"

I was told to close my account last week as per the email received due to FCA. I have had to close at a loss as I was in it for the long term this came as a surprise. I have requested a refund and can see it had been approved I just hope I get what little I had left in my account back this week. This has put me off future investing.

Three working days to send my refund are up. FXVC if you are regulated as you tell everyone why isn’t my refund back with me?

"Avoid FXVC trading."

So I decided to try out a bit of trading on line and found this company. I really wish I had did a bit of research first. I didn’t really know what I was doing so I only started with Ā£500 to test the water. The next day I got a call from Luka telling me he would guide me through what to trade. I suggested Gold which he agreed. So I got 5 contracts of gold and off I went. I didn’t expect a call / email the next day telling me to put more money in to protect my margins and if I didn’t I would loose my contracts. So I did add more funds. Anyway, gold prices fell so it was a good time to buy because I knew eventually they would rise again to the expected price i was wanting to sell at. I was expecting to make about Ā£3000 if all went well. So then i get an email telling me that FXVC can no longer trade in the Uk and i have to close my positions which were All in negative Equity. And today 9-4-2021 the company have closed my positions and i have lost Ā£2037.00. And with no good explanation why. So be very careful with this company.
Below is what the FCA implemented las year and this company still opened UK accounts.

Removal of these firms’ permission to sell contracts for difference (CFDs) to UK consumers
UK consumers should be aware that these Cyprus registered firms no longer hold relevant permissions to conduct regulated activities with UK consumers. This follows FCA receipt of notifications from the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) about the provision of investment services by these firms, which operate under CySEC authorisation and have previously marketed into the UK utilising the EEA passport regime.

The CySEC notifications confirmed that these three CFD providers had decided to cease to provide any investment services in the UK as follows:

Maxiflex Ltd, as of 4 June 2020 (see our Register confirming ā€œStatus: Cancelledā€);
Maxigrid Limited, as of 5 June 2020 (Register, ā€œStatus: Cancelledā€); and,
Reliantco Investments Ltd, as of 11 June 2020 (Register, ā€œStatus Cancelledā€).
Information for consumers with accounts at these firms
As of the relevant dates above, these firms are no longer permitted to open new accounts for consumers in the United Kingdom.

Existing UK account holders with open positions and/or cash balances should review notifications provided on the respective firms’ websites and/or firm communications to UK clients sent by email or available at account log-in.

The firms should clearly set out the process and timelines for their ongoing interactions with their existing UK-based customers.

Complaints procedure
UK consumers who are not satisfied with any aspect of the handling of their trading accounts should first complain to the firm directly.

The firm must acknowledge receipt of your complaint within five days and then provide a material response within two months, telling you whether the complaint has been successfully resolved or why they need more time to look in to it (up to a maximum of three months from the day of complaint).

If you are not happy with the firm’s response, or they fail to respond, you can ask the Cyprus Financial Ombudsman to consider your complaint.

Fuller detail of the Cypriot complaints process is available on the CySEC website here.

"These are NOT scammers"

Without any experience whatsoever, I began trading in December last year. I began by making a lot of money on Bitcoins but, as a result of not understanding properly and my own naivety, I promptly lost it all. FXVC immediately came to my rescue and ever since then I have had an excellent service from both Aric Wolf and Konstantinos. I have had very nice gains and some hefty losses and learned this can be treacherous. There can be little doubt that there is no simple way to make money and things can easily go wrong. One needs be very cautious but I can honestly say that after three months of working with these people I would be happy to continue. I have no idea why the FCA have taken the action they have and would welcome an explanation from them. From their website it is quite clear they have dictated the timetable for this exit, at very short notice, with no apparent concern for those who have invested and may need time to extricate themselves. In short, I have no reason not to recommend FXVC and am happy with the way they have handled my account (and I did not make a fortune). To call them scammers, as some have done here, is wholly inaccurate and inappropriate. For me the big question is why the FCA did not allow more notice. If FXVC have done things incorrectly then tell us. Another thing I find strange is why we are prohibited from doing business with this company if it is our choice and we accept we are not protected by the FCA.

"I got scammed and robbed"

Don't sign up with them, FXVC are certified scammers. Once I got the mail that I can't trade with them anymore, they told me to withdraw the money. The amount I was able to withdraw was actually the amount i started with. The profits were taken away from me and they took it for themselves.

"People of uk do not close your…"

People of uk do not close your position's on a loss let the company close them as you will not be able to pursue any refunds or compensation if you close yourselves...they state they will close when the time is up...this we can pursue....as they closed on us....the airlines tried this at the beginning of the pandemic and was very successful on not returning any money as you had cancelled your trips....I'm aware that in their terms and conditions they can do this but 3 days notice will all depend on when they received the information from our or their government relating to ceasing trades with the UK...mis informed they will be still liable for refunds and compensation if they knew this would happen weeks or months ago... don't be scammed twice....there doing what all big companies do...look out for themselves ....let's take them to the cleaners.. we as a whole can do this.

"This was my first experience of trading…"

This was my first experience of trading online and I found Ben, my FXVC Broker to be incredibly friendly, informative, supportive and engaged. It is a shame that the FCA directive has meant that they can no longer trade with UK Residents, however I definitely can only praise FXVC for the service they provided. I was always very aware of their very clear notice telling us that we may lose money quickly on CFDs and I was cautious about my investments. A little more time between the notice to close UK Residents accounts (FCA directive) and the deadline date might have been advantageous to make some decisions about how to manage more complex and larger accounts, to avoid substantial losses. This was not my experience however, and so I can only again praise the service I have received from the company.

"Account closure instruction"

I opened an account with FXVC/eu in Oct 2020. Since then I've been 'encouraged' to plow more and more money into the account. I have now received the same email many UK FXVC investors have got. I have open positions that are all in negative. Closing them will lose me £5,495. I have called FCA but frankly it was a box ticking exercise and they offered no help. I called FXVC - there is a UK number 020 3936 1455 but they gave no help at all and referred me back to FCA. FXVC have been told they can't contact their clients in the UK so I called them. They were told the same time as us and don't know what's going on. So essentially we have to close all our open positions and take the hit. I'm appalled at the FCA - and if anyone knows where we can get genuine help and recompense for lost funds through no fault of our own please can they let me know. Thanks.
