I have to be honest, I was nervous about ordering such an expensive rower from a company I never heard of. I did my research and decided to take the plunge.

They also sell on Amazon UK and the reviews there were excellent.
I also emailed customer service several times with questions and they average response time......about 15 mins....human on the other end too.

Product came much faster than expected (3 days) and I have to say the quality is excellent. It was easy to assemble, all tools provided.

I am really happy with my purchase and I am assuming they are a new company so i will do all I can to recommend them to other potential customers.

Now for the hard part...shifting the lockdown timber.

"As good as rower that are double in price"

I had the original water rowers at our fitness center at our company. After doing research I purchased the Topiom model for my home. It is as good as the super high end rowers we had at our company at half the price. Its great and easy to assemble and the wife now loves it too. Would highly recommend.

"Love my Topiom Rower"

Love my Topiom Rower, bought it about 7 months ago, have used it almost every day since. My husband and son use it as well on occasion. Sturdy, well built machine, it was easy to build and the after sale service is excellent. The plate covering the adjustable pedals split, allowing the pedals to slip through while rowing, we emailed the supplier and within a week or so, the part was delivered to us and fairly easy to fit.

"I was dubious at first"

I was dubious at first as, honestly, some of the reviews I read looked fake or read like an advert. I’m writing this to hopefully help anyone who noticed the same and isn’t sure.

Delivery was quick (around 4 days) and all-in-all I’m very happy with it.

Putting it together was easy enough. The foot panel was hard to fit due to tolerances, but I got there.

Some reviews say it’s solid wood, some say veneer. I can confirm it’s veneer, but don’t be too put off, it’s not like a cheap bookcase, it’s a good veneer, it doesn’t look plastic. The wood beneath it is engineered, but it’s strong, don’t worry on that front.

I was after something to change my lockdown workouts (been mostly running for months now). I wanted it to not look a mess when it’s not in use and I wanted it to be quite as I have young children. I was going to get a WaterRower (few hundred £ more) but the delivery time really turned me off (6-8weeks).

This is a good rowing machine. The computer/meter isn’t really up to much. You get a reasonable reading on strokes per minute but the distance reading is just multiplying number of strokes by 6m. Makes no difference how hard you pull. I wasn’t much into rowing before but a rower looked like the best option for a home workout machine. So I’m not that fussed about the meter. The strokes per minute is good enough to build your workouts around.

That said, it looks good, feels solid, gives a good workout (I’m reasonably athletic and was slightly worried it wouldn’t give enough resistance - it does), runs quietly and doesn’t take up much space.

If you’re after a home workout rowing machine that looks good when you’re not using it and doesn’t make loads of noise when you are then you’ve found it here. If you’re a keen rower looking at your metrics and following a training regime then this isn’t for you, but you already knew that, you want a Concept 2.

"Topiom Water Rower: Walnut"

I am really enjoying my Topiom rower. When I started on this journey of finding gym equipment for home I spent a significant amount of time deciding the type of equipment that I wanted.

Topiom offer a 21 day free trial which I took them up on to make a decision as I had never heard of this brand before. I’d never used a water rower and the only rower I had used in the past was a Concept air rower at the gym.

There were some basic requirements which I needed specifically, something that could easily be stored in a relatively small space, that would arrive fairly soon and was in budget but of a good, robust quality.

During my investigation other manufacturers had a minimum of 8 week lead time which didn't fit into my New Year plans of getting healthier. I was very impressed that my order came within a few days of ordering and Annie from Topiom kept me informed.

The rower arrived and it took me under an hour to assemble, there aren't that many screws and all the pieces made sense to me where they should go. There is a YouTube video that also shows how to guide on assembly. I did notice a few little scratches before assembly which I informed Topiom about and they were very responsive to feedback.

The colour I chose was the walnut style which is darker in colour but with the blue water dye it just looks amazing.

During my trial I had many questions and these were answered within 24 hours from the fantastic customer services team. Some of these answers had videos attached made specifically to answer my questions.

Something that I did notice is that the V2 monitor wasn’t quite reading my rowing statistics right however again Topiom customer services stepped up and organised a new beta monitor and this resolved the problem.

At the end of the trial, I decided to keep the rower and couldn’t be happier.

I have now had my Topiom rower coming up to two months and can feel the difference.

What I like is that its quieter than an air rower and it feels tranquil with the sound of the water. Paired with Kinomap, it gives useful tracking of my performance and some lovely routes to keep my exercise fresh and new.

Overall my experience has been great and the Topiom customer service has been outstanding.

"I searched & waited a while for a rower…"

I searched & waited a while for a rower with the right weight limit & price range, as well as features important to me like warranty, sound, & solid build. The only complaint I have is that the foot straps are too close together to comfortably place my feet & use the machine without stressing my knees & decreasing range. The shipping was fast, the boxes were excellently padded, the pieces were all present without damage, & build was a breeze. I read to my son the directions & he put everything together in about 35 minutes using only the items that came with the unit. It would be smart to plug in the pump before you start, so it's ready to fill the tank. Having an electric pump is a great advantage here & I didn't notice that offered with any other units, either. The unit sits pretty low to the ground, so be prepared for that. Customer service has been great, answering my questions both on the phone & through email. I took a chance on a new company for the warranty & weight limit; if those 2 items are any of your concern, only time will tell, but so far I'm happy. Oh & the sound of the water while you row is absolutely meditative. I know most people play music during a workout, but you must try it a few times with noting but the water for noise, it's delightful.

"Two weeks after purchase"

Have been using my new rower for about 2 weeks now and all seems good. Took longer to assemble than video suggested but that could be down to me! Already feeling the benefits would recommend to anyone.

Besser geht´s nicht! Vor dem Kauf wurden unsere Fragen sehr schnell beantwortet und nach dem Kauf genauso! Super Service und herzlichen Dank an Johanna.
Das Rudergerät kam sehr schnell per UPS aus Belgien. Super verpackt und leicht zu montieren. Eine deutsche Anleitung liegt ebenfalls bei. Wir haben uns für das Modell aus Ebenholz entschieden, das aus massivem Holz besteht, sehr schön aussieht und sehr gut verarbeitet ist.
Der Computer lässt sich leider nicht mit unserem Polar Pulsgurt verbinden, was uns aber nicht weiter stört, da wir sowieso die App von Polar nutzen.
