"I have to let you know about an issue…"
I have to let you know about an issue with Wayforth moving. They quoted me $2500 for the move for my mom from Cardinal Pond to Maple Grove. I was shocked when I received an invoice over $5300. I called and emailed them repeatedly over the past month and a half asking for an explanation of the charges. I received no response until this week. Deanna told me to call her. I told her I wanted an explanation of the charges. She had no answers.
Today Andrea called me and said the move out charges were wrong and they combined the hours with another move out so mom's move out would drop to $1,400. I asked her about the clean out charges since there was never any mention of this charge during the quote. She said that was for the items left in the apartment. I told her we were there when the apartment was emptied and there were no items left. She called me back and appologized again saying they were for a different move out of Maple Grove and should not have been posted to mom's invoice. So now her $5300 invoice is down to $2281, which is completely reasonable.
I told them I would let you know about this since they are the sole providers to Maple Grove. If my mom had gotten this invoice she would have just paid it. This is totally unacceptable. They can't keep track of their movers' time or which apartment their charges are going to.
I wonder how many other moves were over charged.

I am transitioning my mom to an assisted living facility and received word of a last minute opening in her community. I called WayForth and spoke with Jan who was absolutely AMAZING at working to try and find a last minute opening to move my mom. Not only was Jan able to find an opening but the two gentlemen who moved us, Eddy & Paul were absolutely FANTASTIC! They were incredibly professional and more importantly, very caring for my mother's personal belongings!
I was talking to these gentleman during the move and thanked them for all of their help! Paul quickly and genuinely said "When you’re in need of help, WE’RE HERE for you!”….I honestly about lost it! Even now, it makes me emotional because of the gut punch it had on me on how we should ALL want to help someone.
Thank you to the entire WayForth team for making this emotional transition seamless and more importantly for making me and my family feel completed cared for.

"Moving during a pandemic"
Wayforth was recommended by my Mom’s multi level senior community. Her physical and mental health deteriorated during the pandemic and it became necessary to move her to Assisted Living. I dealt with several different people who coordinated the move, assisted with furniture selection, packing and unpacking. Since I wasn’t allowed into her new building I had to rely on strangers. Lori M was awesome. After the move she continued to remain available. She even sent a list of where she had placed things so I could assist from a distance if Mom couldn’t find things. Moving a loved one during a pandemic is not a pleasant experience. Wayforth made it easier and did everything possible to put all of us at ease. Thank you to everyone involved in this move.

"Scam"
Scam! business is very unprofessional stole my furniture would not call me back i lost everything i had in storage to these animals they try and act like there here to help it was so easy to talk to them when they wanted my money. when i wanted my stuff back they ghosted me would not return emails or phone calls i received and email 2months!! after i emailed them. There email stating that my last payment was late so they are auctioning my things!!! Well yes after countless emails to get my stuff back because i needed it and no longer wanted to pay my storage bills. I waited 2 months before i finally said i was not going to pay the storage bill and that's when they finally emailed me back to steal my stuff! this is a huge scam i lost thousands.! my stuff was no where cheap and neither was the storage bill i was paying for 8 months not to mention all the guys at the business my stuff was stored at i got a hold of one of them wich they informed me wayforth fired the all on the spot!! So a lot of the customers are having the same issues im having so your telling me during this covid you fired all the movers to deliver my stuff. Wich is so rude to all the poor guys that are going to struggle to get by but also then cut off all ways of contact too you guys so us customers loose everything we own
Wayforth you mention on your page your about your team and us customers when in the past 5 months you ruined tons of people life's on your team and scammed thousands from your customers. you guys are something else the worst company I've ever dealt with

With all of the scary things that you hear about moving companies I was a bit hesitant when selecting a moving company. Excellent experience throughout the whole move. They took great care of my time and belongings at each stage. They were on time, efficient, communicative, and careful.
