A fantastic work by Jono Andrews,Richard Simpson and the team nothing was too much trouble.

"What a team!"

The team have just finished their third job for us – an internal remodel of our previous kitchen, dining room and playroom into an open plan family living space. We’re absolutely thrilled with the space and it has made the world of difference to our house. Due to the layout and the walls that needed to come down we lost our kitchen for about 6 weeks – something that could have been really stressful with two small children and a dog but which wasn’t at all with the Andrews team. Rich managed the project seamlessly from start to finish – we knew what was happening and when and the team really kept everything moving along so that we never felt worried about timings or like we were being left behind for another job (our kitchen actually went in a week earlier than expected). The co-ordination to get the right people to the right place at the right time and managing all the subbies (who were also excellent) was second to none. We knew from working with them previously that we would be getting quality workmanship and a much-loved space at the end but what really made cooking in the spare bedroom easier and the project so un-stressful was having people around our house who were genuinely a great bunch of guys – professional, friendly, polite, tidy (as possible as it is to be tidy with walls coming down!) They may not necessarily be the cheapest quote but every penny of that was worth it to know we could trust the team we had on site to do a great job, with a quality finish and to deliver our project on time, on budget, updated as to costs of any extras (that we asked for) and to sort any snags along the way. I would recommend them in an instant – thank you Jono, Rich, Dave and the entire team.

"Excellent extension builders"

Jono and the team built our single storey extension last year and remodelled the entire downstairs of our house at the same time. They were fantastic. I can’t recommend them highly enough. Everything we asked for was done to a high standard. Nothing was too much trouble and Jono/Rich were able to suggest lots of ideas to solve any of our concerns along the way. From the brickies to the plasterers to the joiners, every single person who came on site was polite and trustworthy and genuinely a pleasure to have in our home. If you’re wanting an extension in Leeds - look no further!

"Double storey side + rear extension + remodel"

We're at the end of an extension/remodel project, having found out about Andrews Group from a neighbour.
We've been impressed throughout.
- The main guy (Jono) is hands-on, helped us refine our plans, and was able to both make suggestions and also listen to what was important to us.
- Brilliant workers. They literally have teams of people they can throw at a project. Everyone was friendly, and seemed genuinely motivated to do good work.
- We felt looked after. Even when we weren't too bothered about how something looked, they had pride in their work and wanted to make sure it looked great (e.g. we re-used some old kitchen cabinets for a new utility room, we said we weren't expecting it to look great - but they customised what we had and it looks great)
- Things were left impressively tidy. Going into a project like this you have to expect some mess... but for example we had someone come and power wash and re-sand our drive (without us requesting this, it now looks better than when we started)
- No hidden costs, everything was as agreed

We're now at the end of the project, and the site manager (Rich) has made sure any issues have been addressed. There are some final items left (which have been blocked by e.g. the flooring company finishing off), but we have no concerns that they'll get sorted.

"Andrew's Group have just completed our double storey side extension"

Andrew's Group have just completed our double storey side extension. We have been incredibly pleased with the whole experience from start to finish. Jono, and his wing man Richard, have been on hand throughout to advise, answer questions, deal with issues and help things to run smoothly. Their team have also all been reliable, consistent and a pleasure to work with. Everyone has been polite, respectful and thoughtful and they seem to have achieved a huge amount in a very short space of time! We have felt very unstressed about the building work... something I wasn't expecting at all!

I have felt as if they have always gone the extra mile to make things work out for us. For example, we were keen to retain our existing kitchen floor despite the roof being replaced in the depths of winter! Jono found a way to protect the floor from the rubble and elements, and it looks as good now as it did before. I think it's little things such as this that make them so good.

The price was competitive and there were no hidden costs along the way. The payment plan was also well thought out and easy to monitor and budget for.

When things haven't gone completely to plan, Jono and his team have found solutions, provided alternatives and taken into account our wishes.

Andrew's Group is just a really well run, honest and efficient building company, and their excellent reputation locally is very much deserved.

When Jono came to price up the job we hoped his quote was competitive. He just seemed to immediately understand what we were trying to achieve and he asked all the right questions. His detailed quote was the best, and he was recommended by somebody we knew so we bit the bullet and went with him.

Our project was a single storey modern extension with many glazing elements, and internal alterations to reconfigure the existing space. Our house is Grade 2 listed and in a conservation area so some of the conditions in our planning permission were very specific without any room for manoeuvre. We delayed the start date due to some planning issues and also had to pause midway through the build because the glazing suppliers that we had instructed couldn't supply in time. Jono took all this in his stride without any complaints. He kept to his quote which was extremely impressive due to the nationwide shortage of some materials and his timeline for the work was accurate.

His on site teams are fantastic. All were friendly, polite, tidy, knowledgeable. Fuelled by tea and coffee no detail that we required seemed a hassle. And we had plenty of details! They seemed genuinely interested in the project. We worked through design problems together and everything moved forward as smoothly as any build project I've worked on.

Their preferred external contractors for plumbing and heating are well chosen. They stuck to their quoted prices as well and had to do some tricky work re-routing gas pipes through a tanked out basement.

The end result is better than we could have expected. It looks amazing. Plenty of people passing by have asked for Andrews Group's number because the finished product speaks for itself. We will be using them again when we get round to the other re-configuring that we have planned.

I would highly recommend Andrews Group Leeds Ltd for any building work. We had a double storey side extension, single storey rear extension including the removal of several internal walls completed in 2022 by Andrews Group Leeds Ltd in Horsforth.

The work was completed on time, to the agreed budget and to an exceptional standard. Jono and his team were reliable, friendly, approachable, accessible, and effectively managed the process from start to finish with any issues uncovered during the build process quickly resolved and addressed.

As a new(ish) resident around the Leeds area, I did some research as I wanted an extension on my house. After speaking with a friend, who had recently had an extension done by Andrew's, I liked what I heard regarding the service and quality offered. Fair to say, they did not disappoint. We originally planned a house extension and a garden office, but due to a series of unfortunate events ranging from Covid and a family bereavement to a recent change of job and the economy going the wrong way we decided to postpone the extension and just go with the garden office. My new role was fully remote so I needed it, and not just because the summerhouse I'd been working throughout the pandemic needed to be demolished before the extension even started.

Jono was very understanding and agreed to just build the new garden office for us, it took around 5 weeks, and I watched it being built from the foundations up. I've never made so many cups of tea, but all the workmen that arrived on site, from the guy that dug the foundations, to the brilliant carpenters that built the framing in no time, to the electricians, plasterers, labourers and site manager were all professional, friendly, approachable and considerate.

The quality of the work was excellent and the finish was outstanding, what small niggles came up were dealt with, and the electricians even came back and tested the wiring when there was an issue with flickering lights that turned out to be caused by a dodgy power supply in my office PC. I now have an amazing building in the garden that's not just an office, but a great family space as well. The entire build was delivered within budget despite building material prices being all over the place after Covid, and we're all very happy with it. The only issue is that it looks so good that it makes the house and garden look bad... lol. When we are ready for the extension to start our first port of call will be Jono at Andrews Group.
