"I bought my first property with RedLoft…"
I bought my first property with RedLoft and I must say that Moiz and Nikki have been great throughout the whole time. We experienced a delay in the delivery of the building (due to the developer) and Nikki and Moiz were always an available to provide support and updates. Highly recommended.
Edit 15/02/24
Me and other first time buyers were thrilled and so happy for having bought our first home with a nice view. During the sales process Moiz made us aware that there were plans to build in front of us but he said “nothing should be taller than your building”. It was a big fat lie. Since 2022 there were plans to build a massive tower right in front of us and the developer Sixty Bricks (who RedLoft was working for), is council owned so surely they knew everything. It was all a big scam and I am nauseated by the viciousness of these people. I thought that the “never trust a real estate agent” was a common place. I was wrong and RedLoft is the proof. Never trust anything they say

We used RedLoft to purchase our first property and they were amazing throughout. Moiz and Nikki were there for us the whole way, always keeping us updated and offering great advice and support whenever we needed. Would highly recommend!

"Attentive, contactable and knowledgeable"
I don't often write reviews but Moiz, supported by Nikki, has made my move a pleasant experience. Attentive, always contactable, and always had the answers to my questions.

Moiz and Nikki were great throughout my shared ownership purchase. They didn’t pressure me, made sure I had all the options and information when looking around and kept me informed throughout the process. They were also just really nice people!

"Lack of professionalism and discrimination"
I viewed an apartment to buy, the agent Menna (sales graduate) wasn’t able to answer to basic questions (eg is the boiler gas or electric?). We were also concerned because the length of the walls didn’t match the one on the floor map (eg we measured 2.80 meters instead of the 3 meters indicated on the drawing). We also asked the precise size of the flat in meter squared (excluding walls). These are details that an agency is legally requested to disclose.
Mena asked to write an email with all questions she wasn’t able to answer and she promised to answer in 24 hours. She didn’t answer. I chased her 48 hours after, she reassured me that she was going to answer. I wrote today after one week and she wrote the flat was reserved.
She didn’t even inform me despite the fact I had a priority.
There are the rules and regulations that bind estate agents. There’s a strong requirement for every agent to treat everybody involved in the proposed sale or purchase fairly and with courtesy. The lack of professionalism and breach of code of practice is highly disappointing. I also wonder if it is a case of discrimination against a gay couple.

A senior agent replied via email.
1) He confirmed my questions were not answered because they didn’t know the answers (eg how many meter squares). I literally quote: “In order to ensure we get the correct information and that we do not mis-sell we are obligated to ensure that the information provided is 100% accurate.”
2) He also confirmed the lack of professionalism of Mena: “I do accept that Menna could have been clearer in advising you that without payment you could miss out and that she could not offer answers within the 24hr timeframe you required. ”
I let readers make their own conclusions.

"Very helpful sales staff"
Big thanks to Jess from Redloft who has been incredibly helpful from a first time buyer perspective, has responded very quickly to any of my queries from start to finish and managed to get me moved in much quicker than I had expected.

"Overall poor experience with Redloft"
Overall poor experience with Redloft
Original viewing with Joseph was positive and straight forward. Although I was originally advised that the flat would be ready for completion at the end of March, which was a factor in the reason that I decided to go forward with the property. It wasn't until the 29th March, that I was advised the handover was now due to take place the second week of April.
Then on the 14th April, there was mention of a children's play area needing to be added to the development (something that was never mentioned right from the start), in order for the building to be signed off.
On the 3rd May I was then advised that this would not be happening until late in May, as the approval of the play area was still sitting with the council. Then on the 5th May I am then surprised to be informed that this is pushed back until 13th July!!
And again on 10th June, I get advised that it has been pushed back to the 9th August with no real detail as to why.
I constantly found that it was me that was initiating the updates from Joseph/Nikki and the team. And the updates that I was receiving were never filled with much information or actually satisfying me that everything was being looked after and required me to continually ask for more questions.
When it finally arrived at the day to collect my keys, I would of expected much more of a special experience, considering this was a massive day for someone buying their first property.
I arrived, and it took around 20 minutes for Madi to locate the keys for the property.
Once finally in the property, it was as though no one had stepped foot in there for months. The kitchen sides were dusty. Cutlery drawer filled with dust and dirt. Shelving missing from a kitchen cupboard. Massive stain on the bedroom window.
I have seen many stories shared about first time buyers collecting their keys, and it was far from this. Not even a small token from Redloft. I.e. Redloft keyring, small congratulations card, bubbles. Something that makes the day feel special and personalised. Very disappointing
