very poor service ,I ordered over the phone to make sure everything was in stock. Was told it was so ordered over the phone and paid in full by card. I was emailed to say it would be with me the next day :then I got an email to say it was not in stock and could be sent the following week .After registering with the site and not being able to get into my account. I was not impressed .I phoned and cancelled order . I expect it will take then a lot longer to refund my money than it took to take it . Wish I had read the reviews on here first . It would seem this is common .

My order was a 3-5 day delivery but I had an email off them telling me that it was out of stock and due in the next week and would I like to still proceed with the order. I said yes that is fine so as soon as my order was in they sent it next day delivery! By them doing this it still arrived within the 5 days as advertised. Great customer service doing that for me.

"Terrible customer service."
Terrible customer service.
Brought a heated duvet that was so heavy I couldn't sleep in my bed last night. Yeah I spent the night in my chair. The best part is they won't take it back for a refund, unhygeinic they say. I thought most people put duvet covers on they're duvets so how is hygiene effected, especially after only 55 minutes being under it. It's so heavy it bruised my toes, if I could include pictures here I would.
World of Camping, be very, very careful they're not as good as people think. I've spent £thousands with them over the years, never again, do yourselves a favour STEER CLEAR OF WORLD OF CAMPING

Recently bought two items of them due to good price. Delivery was swift and trouble free. However one item was defective. I contacted them and a replacement was sent the same day. Great customer service. I will certainly be using them again.

They bent over backwards to help me out and were super efficient in turning around an order I needed quickly. My experience of them was fantastic both on the phone and also through the chat feature on their web site.
It's nice to deal with real people who care when shopping on line.

Placed an order on Tuesday for a tent that they could't fulfil. Called today (three days later) to find out what was happening, told that there was a system error and they were going to call me this afternoon.
Waiting on a tent for a camping holiday and now have to find another supplier and pay for express delivery.

Found the awning annexe I was after at a decent price on this site, the website did say it was out of stock and allowed me to order. I received a call with an update on delivery very quickly, and the product turned up on the day I was quoted. Very smooth transaction.

I used World of Camping for the first time last week and were impressed by the range of products they had available on their site. As a caravaner, I was also impressed how well it caters for the caravaner. They products I ordered were competitive and delivered fast, with well packaged boxes. I would definitely use them again.

"Beware - poor delivery, poor collection, poor refund"
I paid £9.99 for delivery next day by noon for a power inverter for a charity event which failed to appear in time 'because the courier misrouted it'. OK, everyone makes mistakes. However, it wasn't routed back to WoC and refunded as promised, appearing a day later at my office where it stayed uncollected. I rang to ask for collection. After another delay it was collected and after another delay I was refunded for the item but not the delivery, 3 weeks after delivery was originally due.
I rang customer services to ask for the £9.99 refund but was told my claim was with the courier! Despite explaining that they paid the courier the person I spoke to and the customer services manager (Lyssa) were adamant. Dispute registered with PayPal...Avoid.

"Excellent Company - Super fast delivery service"
Having ordered an Outdoor Revolution Easi Canopy on Friday last (15th July 2011) I was delighted to receive it this morning (20th July). Deliveries to Northern Ireland are often delayed due to the distance and difficulties with couriers however, I was pleasantly surprised at how fast and efficient this company were in despatching my order. Their pricing is very reasonable and the range of products excellent. I will definitely purchase from this company again.
