"Doesn't save any time, contact the agencies directly."

Messly did nothing to accelerate the process of signing up for locum work.
The agencies contact you separately and then you must duplicate all sign up forms and processes. You must also respond to them separately - via email, text or even phone calls, whatever each agency uses normally. So messly doesn't even reduce the bureaucracy of picking up shifts.
Not to mention there is insane competition for locum work currently, which will only worsen. It's not worth the time, just emigrate.

Messly is very efficient way of getting into locum work. I found the team on Messly very helpful and supportive all the way through till I got my first locum shifts. The system of having everything in one place and not having to repeat all the checks and references for each single agency is really innovative and saves time and effort. Messly is a very easy to use website which allows you to see the range of jobs and locums in your area. The OneRef system made it very easy to supply references to multiple locum agencies. I would definitely recommend this website to other doctors looking for locum work in their F3 year !
