"Very useful website and app"

It’s a very useful website and the app is great if you’re starting off in your locum F3 year as it can help to point you in the right direction. It’s so useful having your own dedicated member of staff from the team to send queries to along the way and it overall provides a wealth of knowledge that would otherwise take you a while to learn about.

Very useful advice available, good to use for beginning contact with agencies. Excellent support on offer and it's helpful having a point of contact separate from agencies themselves.

Useful platform to connect with locum agencies and handy to have all documents stored in one place. Unfortunately most of the agencies require lengthy forms filled in in addition and are not always proactive at checking what is on Messly before requesting documents.

"Great"

Looking for locums and signing up to multiple places can be a bit of a chore. Messly is a great way of collating the information you need. The extra info pages are fantastic for planning your locum years, understanding appraisals etc. Website is pretty smooth and straightforward.

Agencies aren’t yet utilising all the features Messly offers - it will be even better when agencies start auto filling documents for their signing on forms instead of having to upload it all again. Will be great when agencies start making the most of the already completed references instead of requesting them again through their own pages!

Found several agencies through this website and the process is really protective for doctors giving you all the power to make choices and ask questions!

"Such an easy process!"

Messly made the process of finding work much easier and a swifter process than joining individual agencies. It collates all your documents so that you don’t have to keep sending them out, and stores the references so they’re accessible to all agencies. It got me a job much quicker than individual agency! Would definitely recommend for anyone doing locum work!

Made the locum process easy to understand. Lots of helpful resources and regular check-ups from the team to see if there is anything else they can help with. Everyone I've been in contact with has been incredibly friendly and helpful. Easy system to use and helps finding ideal agencies to work with easy.

"Can be good, can be bad!"

Had good experience on here of finding a few very good agencies and being able to easily share all of my documents with them.
However also had bad experiences of documents being hard to upload and having to do this multiple times. A messly Staff member pressuring me to leave a reference on my profile I wasn't comfortable with. Staff then delaying getting a new reference sorted out when there was a software issue which lost me work. Staff inconsistent in their response times - sometimes fast, sometimes slow.
Will send multiple emails asking about an issue/asking you if you've done things instead of just sorting it out!
Also booked calls with agencies on their calender only for them to call me immediately at an inconvenient time and say they're not actually available for a call as arranged then the call has never happened but if you try to apply for a different job with that agency you will get a generic msg saying you can discuss it in the past phone call and there's no way to rearrange it! Just so many issues with this clunky app and some unprofessional staff.

I found messly an excellent way to reach agencies. However the jobs suggested by messly were not always accurate

Smoother and simple interface to gather all your documents together. Helpful and attentive support. Makes finding locum agencies easy.
Sometimes there is duplication of work, e.g. references, where agencies need to be encouraged to use Messly docs.
