"A great experience!"

Dealing with a tech service company can be a challenge. Not so with TurboSMTP, they are there every step of the way with friendly, and personal support.

A real pleasure, and on a scale on 1 - 10, they are a definite 11.

"They won't sign you up for the Free Program"

They have refused my subscription 4 times.

Each time the told me to apply again, each time they turned me down.

They write that I don't meet their guidelines. They also won't reveal which guideline I don't meet.

They further tell me that they have some guidelines that are secret. That’s right “secret”.

I think the only “secret” is they didn’t want to sign me up for the FREE program. I bet if I had signed up for Paid program, then I would have been excepted.

"Rejected Our Application, Gave No Explanation, Even Though We Followed Recommendations Flawlessly, Then Reported Our Bad Online Review as "Fake""

I'm the founder and editor of RateTea, a social review site for tea drinkers, and I applied to use this company's service for automated emails our server sends out. We follow best practices in email marketing, only ever emailing people who sign up using the form on our site, verifying every email, having a reply-to address that we actually check, and having an unsubscribe link to any auto-generated emails.

This company rejected our application as spammers, and refused to work with us or provide us any explanation of why. They sent us a link with a generic list of criteria and I went over the criteria one by one and we met ALL of them to a T.

Their interactions with me were rude and unprofessional. I will happily take my business elsewhere, but only after letting others know about my bad experience through this review.

To add insult to injury, this company then came on TrustPilot and reported my review as a "fake" review. I find this really creepy. If the company wants good reviews, they could treat potential customers with respect and consideration during the application process. Thankfully, TrustPilot reached out to me for documentation and reinstated my review after I forwarded them the emails and showed that I actually had had the bad experience with this company.

Please don't waste your time with this company, and please don't reward them with your money and service when they are going around doing the things that they did to me.

"Pretty solid"

We use it in our company to send everything - from our professional accounts to newsletters to our clients. Pretty solid, and when there's something wrong - which happens, rarely - they are always pretty straightforward in communicating it.

They require to pay upfront,i did that.Later they say i can't have account with them.I ask my money back,they promise but nothing happen. Don't buy from them nothing.Money(refund) come after they saw my review here.So guess what i'm think about them.Lucky to found this influence website.

"Poor product and poor support and now …"

Poor product and poor support and now they have had a data breach! Tried to close an account with them in 2013 and just found out it was still open despite them saying they had closed it.

UPDATE (10th May 2019)>:
Well, they replied below 18 months after I left this feedback. Amazing response time guys, but at least you are consistent as you have managed to draw this issue out from 2013 to 2019. Must be a record of some sort!!! Give yourselves a big pat on the back sometime around mid 2022!

"DONT EVEN TRY TURBOSMPTP"

DONT EVEN TRY TURBOSMPTP - SICK EXPERIENCE HORRIBLE

I paid for this 5 days back and it wasn't activated. The 100 free emails tried hard and managed and found it wasn't activated. I was told that "the information given by me doesn't match their internal criteria and they had right not to disclose" I contact support - absolutely useless she takes 20 minutes to reply and says same thing As a customer this is the worst I have felt anywhere. - Terrible and horrible experience and waste of time - don't go there.

Was told like a couple of other people that I did not match the internal criteria, or some BS like that. I told them I was never informed there were ANY REQUIREMENTS we had to follow in order to get the service. Don't waste your time with this company. Seems kind of shady anyways. DON'T USE THEM. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!

"Get past the customer service, and it may well be okay - I have no idea!"

I've used their Sendblaster software before and have been very impressed. But sadly, the TurboSMTP brand of "customer service" is simply appalling. They showed a real disdain for my question as to why when I was told my account had been declined - they offered no reason as to why this might be, or any advice, and I was simply met with the passive-aggressive response "Feel free to register again if you think you have the requirements...".

The first other SMTP relay company I have tried has been much more helpful, and from what I can see, offers an equivalent if not better service.
